About

Plan ahead, outsmart enemies and progress a world of dark creatures and cunning evil. Utilize playful and tactile weaponry in visceral and intense combat. Create unique builds by combining weapons, gear, tools, and enchantments to suit your playstyle. Whether you’re a gun-blazing risk-taker or a careful strategist, the choice is yours. Adapt your approach, experiment, and survive the dangers of Sulfur.

Enter a world packed with relentless action, powerful firearms, and dynamic FPS combat, where unpredictable enemies lurk in every shadow. Arm yourself with an array of weapons that can be modified and enchanted with a vast range of attachments and effects.
As you explore, uncover hidden secrets, collect valuable loot, and discover rare treasures – but tread carefully. Every decision counts: the gear you bring may be lost if you fail, and the equipment you leave behind won't be there when you need it most. Risk and reward are tightly intertwined in every choice you make.

Experience the atmosphere, suspense and tribulation of a world in redemption. What happened? And why? Travel through eerie caverns, sordid Black Guild shanties, putrid sewers and pass through castle walls and beyond. Go deeper, head on. Answers come to those who listen.

Explore, discover, uncover. On your adventure you encounter strange creatures in unexpected places—pay attention to their warnings. Whether they despise, admire, or ignore you, your path is yours to forge. Stay alert; these encounters may offer insights, but ultimately, it’s up to you to push forward and find the answers you seek.

A bloodstained white collar
Dirt on your shoes
Your shoulders are aching
Is this but a ruse?
A coven is suspect
A church is aflame
Who is the culprit?
Who is to blame?
Ocean screaming,
Twisting turning
Mouth is dry,
Eyes are burning
But you must tread on,
There is no remorse

It's one of those single player game that I think have good gameplay, but absolutely no respect for you time : First of all having a variety of weapon to try in the first few hours fully depend on RNG (from discussing the matter with a friend, having only finding 2 weapons, both being pistols, in 3 hours and same amount of levels completed is not normal, but that's what I got). After that you should have enough money to at least be able to buy weapons from merchants when they sell some. Second weapons have an upgrade system which require to use them to unlock ranks, and each ranks grant an oil slot for this weapon which will apply modifiers to this weapon's stats. Ranks aren't shared between weapons of the same type, which means if you have 2 of pistol A, each individual pistol A have to be ranked up individually. If some of the oils you applied on a weapon don't synergize well, that's too bad cause you can't remove them (or at least I haven't unlocked a way to do it on almost 5 hours of playtime). Third there is this level called Hedge maze, and I will just say I think it's a complete waste of time (light spoiler : it's a level where the best way to approach it is to run from the beginning to the end while ignoring everything else, in a game which doesn't have environment traversal as one of its strong points) and the fact that I've seen people complaining about it for 2 years in the forums and yet it's still there and still a bad experience definitely played a part in my opinion of the game. Playing on keyboard I don't know why but I can't use the 2 key to switch to my second weapon which is very annoying (1 for the first weapon is working, aswell as 3 4 5 for the 3 slots items slots). Lastly small QOL that are missings : At a cooking spot, you can't click one of the known recipe with all ingredients available to do the dish, you instead have to click every ingredients one by one. When buying from a merchant, buying an item and then selling it back without closing the trading window still result in a loss of money. I might give the game another go when 1.0 is out, but I definitely won't play it in its current state.
Gun shoot. I like gun.
Pretty baller game ngl, the audio bugs out a lot for me when i'm in the Castle and theirs way too many mines on the ground. Other than that, I love the game fr

I was fooled by the graphics. This game is a gem! Very fun gameplay loop and nice combat!
My god, this game is utterly PEAK. It's well-made, has a good mix of a silly sense of humor and a serious, horrifying tone, and it's REALLY DAMN ADDICTING! As of writing this review, I haven't beaten this game yet, but I'm enjoying every minute of it! I can't wait for it to come out on other consoles so my friends on Switch 2 can play it!!
