About

Plan ahead, outsmart enemies and progress a world of dark creatures and cunning evil. Utilize playful and tactile weaponry in visceral and intense combat. Create unique builds by combining weapons, gear, tools, and enchantments to suit your playstyle. Whether you’re a gun-blazing risk-taker or a careful strategist, the choice is yours. Adapt your approach, experiment, and survive the dangers of Sulfur.

Enter a world packed with relentless action, powerful firearms, and dynamic FPS combat, where unpredictable enemies lurk in every shadow. Arm yourself with an array of weapons that can be modified and enchanted with a vast range of attachments and effects.
As you explore, uncover hidden secrets, collect valuable loot, and discover rare treasures – but tread carefully. Every decision counts: the gear you bring may be lost if you fail, and the equipment you leave behind won't be there when you need it most. Risk and reward are tightly intertwined in every choice you make.

Experience the atmosphere, suspense and tribulation of a world in redemption. What happened? And why? Travel through eerie caverns, sordid Black Guild shanties, putrid sewers and pass through castle walls and beyond. Go deeper, head on. Answers come to those who listen.

Explore, discover, uncover. On your adventure you encounter strange creatures in unexpected places—pay attention to their warnings. Whether they despise, admire, or ignore you, your path is yours to forge. Stay alert; these encounters may offer insights, but ultimately, it’s up to you to push forward and find the answers you seek.

A bloodstained white collar
Dirt on your shoes
Your shoulders are aching
Is this but a ruse?
A coven is suspect
A church is aflame
Who is the culprit?
Who is to blame?
Ocean screaming,
Twisting turning
Mouth is dry,
Eyes are burning
But you must tread on,
There is no remorse

This game has a lot of tried-and-true concepts but doesn't bring anything really interesting to the table. Everything you experience in this game is going to be just like something you've already experienced. I don't really like the gunplay. It isn't horrible but doesn't feel the greatest either. It just feels like the absolute bare minimum of gunplay that could be implemented. The guns are all pretty bog standard, but you can mod them using items to radically change their behavior. This isn't anything super new. This game is just alright. I don't have anything really positive to say or anything really negative, just completely neutral. You could interpret that as a negative review maybe, and I wouldn't really argue with you. I can't imagine playing this game very long in singleplayer, but as I understand it this game is slated to receive a multiplayer update at some point because it surpassed a sales goal of some kind. That's really great. This game feels a lot like most unity slop games. I don't really intend that as a disparaging remark, it's just a statement.

Some of you goblins are alright. Don't go to caves tomorrow if you are in the northwest. happening thread will be posted tomorrow morning so long space robots
It's safe to say I've been addicted to this game over the past week and a half after I got it in the Steam Summer Sale. It has just the right amount of extraction looting, shooting, and roguelike elements to keep me coming back multiple times in one day. I feel like I started it in the perfect stage of having the core elements in the game but still seeing a road of improvements as shown in the couple of updates it has gotten in the time I've had it. All of the guns and various upgrades you can give them are unique and make loadout building a lot of fun. It's great to feel the gears click in your head as you load up your favorite weapon with the right attachments, oils, and scroll to really make it your own and decimate a room or boss. If you're not as familiar with extraction games or like less randomness (and potential frustration) like I do, set the game to Medium to give yourself some leeway. The enemies and bosses start as difficult until you learn their patterns and are fun to fight. The designs and the way the different levels of this flow and interact are so much fun to discover. I cannot wait to see what they have in store for the future of this game.
I wasn't sure what to expect from this game, but I tried the Demo and enjoyed it. Bought the game and have been having a blast. You get the Rogue-like elements, but then there's also the customizing of weapons through Oils and Enchantments (enchantments can be combined to make interesting combinations), and some inventory management mechanics. All in all, I've enjoyed the heck out of this game while I'm recovering from a really bad illness. This is one of those gems that really goes to show AAA developers have lost the plot.
Great fun
pretty good
It took around 40 hours for me to beat the final boss on hard difficulty, but I wasn't really rushing. I spent quite a bit of time just running the zones to upgrade weapons and I had a lot of fun. I can't believe it was that many hours tbh it flew by. I think it would be cool to add melee oils! Speaking of features, i think it is in a great spot already. I encounter some glitches (a tongue, which was a quest item, was in my inventory but another item was overlapping it and eventually it disappeared. I also fell out of bounds once but I was reset after a second or so.) but the game is definitely worth the money already if you need a fun dungeon crawler in your life. I really appreciate the meta progression through the hub where you can upgrade your gear and take a breather. Easy recommendation from me!
