Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

The Story of Suikoden I

A Liberation Army is rising up in an act of rebellion against an oppressive rule.

The Story of Suikoden II
Our story's hero and his friend Jowy are members of the Unicorn Youth Brigade, which participated in a drawn-out border dispute between the Highland Kingdom and the City-States of Jowston .

Nice
I bought this game on sale, at full price not worth it due to the lack of UI updates (only graphics and faster battle time). I am recommending this ONLY if you are a 90s baby and played rpg or have played old rpgs. There are alot of elements from newer rpgs that are missing and might turn players off. Pros: Good story telling though it is straight forward and doesnt have much twist and turns (suikoden 2 has a twist but nothing to crazy) Combat - 6 person combat was overall good and the auto battle is great for easier fights Character designs - Old school but each characters looks and feels unique based on certain runes Leveling up - the leveling system doesnt really require grinding and lower level characters catch up quickly Cons: Making money - in 1 & 2 making money early to mid game is a pain gets better in 1 then in 2 by late game money is easy to come by. You need it for upgrading your weapons Guide - if you are trying to get all 108 characters it is impossible without a guide as there are checkpoint were if you go past cannot get the character again Forced party members - In 1 & 2 you are forced to use certain characters, and if you havent used before need to spend resources on which can be a pain if you dont have a good money system Last the amount of playable characters is a double edge sword, because there are so many you can experiment and what you like but due to upgrading is so expensive and you do really get a reliable method until late game (more so in 2). It might make you stick with certain characters

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 30: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

a classic!!!
