Positives: Subverse is a fantastic Adult Only game, with cheeky humor, lewd moments and heart at the center of the game. Yes you can collect waifus, yes you have a bevy of pornographic scenes, but what sets the game apart is the story at the center of the game where the characters overcome their limitations, or faults, together as a team. Came for the adults scenes, stayed for the story and fun moments - Highly recommend. Negatives: there is a certain amount of grind in this game that overly extends how long it takes to complete. Could be about 10 hours shorter in my mind.

The cutscenes and trailers made this out to be a decent high budget game. It is not. The turn based combat is bad and boring. The stages are played out in ways, which bored me to frustration by the end of the tutorial. It feels like a mobile game, no animation for movement characters just teleport. The fights are hyper rudimentary. The cutscenes are too long and suffer from the same thing as modern marvel movies too many people attempting one liners that are unearned and dull. The humor that boils down to people saying "penis", though that statement was probably funnier than any joke said in the game so far. But, hey if you liked that joke, strap in. Cause there is a LOT of it. The reason why we are all here are good, but unearned. Just bought from a store. Zero context. Just "hey look, jiggling boobies!" Most of them only have rudimentary camera controls, and nothing else. Boiling down to pretty tame prerendered cutscenes. But hey! You can take these (completely disconnected) scenes and put them in a playlist. That sound fun, right? The characters are pretty one note. Like, all of them are the same note and the note is "I'm Horny". It has the writing depth of an actual porno. Which would be fine if I didn't know I would be staying with these characters for more than an hour (with the wonky dialogue on skip). The voice acting varies, though a joke character seems to be the best acted. Whoever they got to play Tibold, kudos. Everyone else? meh. I was trying to make a sh*t sandwich with this review. But, honestly? The only enjoyable part of the game was the ship combat. A decent twin stick-style shooter, with varying enemy ships and a modicum of strategy to them. Ultimately, there are better games than this for literally everything this game offers. It feels like a mobile game that is being touted as a triple-A game. Other spicy games on Steam will give you the itch that this one does not. Just skip it.
Starts off better then Most adult games, then it jumps to just a stupid unrefined Grind they tried to fix with a pity mechanic. the Ship had so much potential and is give no Balance or real progression out side the first hour of the game. Pandora Seems like it's going to be great and all the effort was put into bestiality not the girls. a couple of good women. The development is a bunch of monster shaft love hiding behind women.
