I tried to play this game in early access too soon after completing the original, and didn't really care for it. Too much the same, I thought. I have come back to it after the recent patch, and I'm really enjoying it this time around. The story is more involved, but it doesn't get in the way. The Shadow Leviathan is definitely a good successor to the Reaper, and while I haven't finished it yet, I expect that I will.
I love Subnautica but below zero is not for me I don't like how they nerfed the seaglide and it just no much land exploration and map too small buut it a good game just not for me the first one 100x better the second one so far way better I say unless it's on sale dont bother unless you really are gonna play it
"Take the great game subnautica, the game about surviving in the sea, and have massive on land portions." "Good idea" said no one in their right mind. Less lonely tho. More peopled.

Dislikes: - Seatruck (Bring back the seamoth!) - Mid leviathans - Lacking story from Marguerit and a bit from AL-AN - Small map and not that much to explore Redeeming factor: - Penglings
7/10 Ah yes, Great Value Subnautica 2. It is a good game, don't get me wrong. However, the story is... well... bad. The first game left a sense of mystery and wonder whereas this one has absolutely no nuance. "Go here, because I said to" is a common experience. The map is regretfully one of the worst aspects as half of the map is land, in a game about the ocean. The other half is so small you can't really build a large base easily. Base building was and still is the best part of the series and this game did a half good job. It added some awesome additions, like a music box so you can play music across your base. But, then they went and removed things from the first game?? Why? It serves no purpose to remove items we built with before. Also Cyclops > Seatruck. Overall, a good game that I recommend you play if you are a fan, just do it quickly so you can either go back to the first one or get the real sequel.
Fabuła wciągająca, rozgrywka bardzo zadowalająca. Czy czegoś trzeba więcej?
I honestly think it lives up to the first game pretty well. Allot of people complain that some portions of the game take place on land but I didn't really have much of a problem with that. Don't worry about the land part, even if you do end up having a problem with it, it doesnt take up too much of the game IMO.
