Absolutely top :)
I like the continuity of this game with the original game, there's new aliens/creatures, new gear and vehicles while still keeping the lore essentially the same as the first with a few twists. Great visually and music-ally. Definitely recommend giving it a shot if you're into this sort of survival game.
I want to start by saying that I love and adore both the original Subnautica, and now Subnautica 2 (just the current early build that we have been given has blown me away so far). But Below Zero left a bad taste in my mouth. It felt more like a DLC that should have gone alongside the original game than an entirely seperate one. The story is great, but the gameplay feels so... I'm not sure how to describe it in a word. The map often feels cramped instead of open like the original, and the character having their own voicelines is great for story, but immersion-breaking for me. My personal opinion is that Below Zero should have shipped as a DLC or at least with a lower price tag. It doesn't deserve the same price as Subnautica 2 has in my opinion. Again, the story is great and I love the lore expansion, but overall it's just meh. That's my personal take though.
Its so pretty and fun.
subnautica (multiplayer mod) > below zero > subnautica 2
yes yes very good
GOATED
Great game, lots of fun, incredible immersion. Me and my wife love this game!
