Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 17 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Loved this game, the gameplay is slightly repetitive but it’s kept fresh through new abilities/gadgets you keep gaining, and new strategies you can come up with. It’s quite puzzle-like really. I loved the open world too, means you can revisit places to pick up a potion you're in need of etc. Only thing I found bad was some items you needed to find, but had no clue where (fortunately there’s plenty of guides online). Graphics perfectly acceptable and it only crashed once.
We want the black version of the Master of Shadows Styx skin, and the original Styx skin too!
In terms of abilities, this is a huge upgrade from the previous games! I respect the team doing something new, making this entry a bit more open world compared to the previous two. Going back and forth from point A to point B over and over got a bit tedious, but I found it to be an enjoyable edition to the series overall. The story was alright and the voice acting was a bit rough at times, but it was a fun game to unwind to after work. It won't blow your mind, but it's refreshing to see the developers back with a new title. Wait for a sale and if you enjoyed the previous games, you'll at least enjoy this one.
I have very mixed feelings about this game, and it feels like they were so close to knocking it out of the ballpark but made the scope too big. If I had to rate I'd say a 7/10, it's pretty solid but I think it loses some of what made the first two Styx games special in my opinion. That being said, I appreciate this game taking risk to change the formula from the first two games and I do like a lot of the changes that were done. The Good: I like the change of gameplay loop with 3 main areas and exploring new parts of them as you unlock movement abilities. While I wish that the Quartz missions were a bit more varied, they did a good job of getting you to explore the map and hit the set pieces. The movement abilities are really fun, the grappling hook and the glider are the best but the climb was disappointing. This combined with the map design almost gives this game an almost Metroidvania quality. I liked the story, as it felt like a better marriage of the original two games where the second was not as connected to the plot or themes of the first game. It wasn't fantastic, but it expanded the world and felt like a good bow on Styx's character as a whole. The pacing of the story is a bit tail heavy but not enough that I felt lost in the beginning. The Bad: I did not like how many new abilities were introduced, and I did not like the change to the Clone power. Where the first two games made you get creative to get around difficult sections like bridges or tight rooms, you get to have so many powers that any section that may have been difficult is just a spot to use a new power. This ties in with the Clone change, where I was legitimately confused the first time I used it in this game. In this game, the default clone is effectively a fake death, where you summon a clone you cannot control and become invisible for a few seconds. You can get the Clone Throw upgrade where you throw the clone to interact with distant objects or distract enemies. Despite that it feels like you lose a lot of the flexibility and uses for the Clone, which felt like the most iconic parts of Styx. Some of the later missions feel like they just added more things to do and did not actually become any more difficult. It made the later parts of the game feel disappointing and like more of a slog at times than an actual increase of the stakes.
