Studio System : Guardian Angel

Spoiler-free review: I write this review as I finished the game, so as you can see, without looking up any puzzle on the web on like "how to solve this and that" i finished it under 6 hours. About the story: The story itself is good and sort of unique, but at some times it's a bit complicated, and hard to understand. The characters are pretty much well written, however I feel like there were some parts that could have been a bit longer in explanations. Graphics: Well as you must guessed from the screenshots the graphics itself isn't a top tier one, however I must say that it fits the vibe perfectly. Just as the character designs. I mean I could say there is a few very short "cutsenes" but that doesn't take up a big part. Personally I'm used to this type of artstyle, but it can be a turn-off for some people. Horror Elements: Since it's a horror game I have to talk about it, but as I experienced I wouldn't say it's THAT scary as I thought when I first played it. HOWEVER, it can be scary if your timing is horrible in some situation, more likely towards the "endgame", but as I said before, the horror isn't that scary, it's just gives off a creppy, nostalgic, and unsettling. Game Mechanics: For a first glance it's very hard to control your character, so you have to learn it at the beginning, and you even have to make sure you managing your ammo and heals correctly. Other then this I don't really have any pros or cons in this theme. Overall rating, and plus info: Overall I suggest this to people, however if you are looking for a long gameplay, and you don't like replaying the same game, then it might not be your type. Personally I like the multiple ending idea, but since it's a 4-6 hours story game itself, it will take a while to get all the achivement. One bug i found is that, it's like sometimes the camera angel switches while you are not even in that area, making it harder to control your character in. One extra thing to mention thought, is that it's sometimes doesn't even explain things AT ALL. So sometimes you will spend like 30-50 minutes figuring out what you should even do. Oh, and don't forget about the point shop :) For a closing sentence I would say I love this game, it was a nice experience, I suggest you playing it after 10pm :D My overall rating: 10/8.5

Very solid game and i would recomend it to anyone interested in this sort of thing the characters are solid and the story decent really i think this games highest point is that its very well designed with intentional use of color and lighting that reflect the main characters current mental state and tying into the naratve very well the only thing i can say left something to be desired is the narative can be confusing at times and seems just make you curious about whats happening around you to then immediatly giving you all the answers i dont know if thats just because of the ending path i ended up on being meant for people replaying or what but it was failry jaring at times either way its a 8/10 would recomend and probably play again
