Basically a blatant copy of NFSU2 with a bit of gooner content sprinkled on top. It does some things better like having a damage model, daytime races or police chases (though they are scuffed af to say the least). Then it has annoying parts such as the only way to refill nos is by going to freeroam and performing stunts or the dazziling sun obscuring your entire vision or the engine sounds randomly cutting off, I'm sure I could find more if I played the game longer. The graphics have aged surprisingly okay. The same cannot be said about the physics, the cars feel like they were made of paper. And well, the overall atmosphere isn't great. For a game that's at the bottom of steam's bargain bin, competing with various asset flips, I don't think it deserves a negative review. All I'm going to say is that I played worse games but, after the hour I spent here, I'm not coming back.

It's a horny racing game from the PS2 era, whats not to love?
one of the best racing games i ever played
this game need to be updated to support higher resolutions and controller correctly
There was Midnight Club, Juiced and then there was this, Street Racing Syndicate. Back in the mid 2000s after Need for Speed Underground blew up and became an instant hit worldwide a lot of other developers tried to recreate this success or just wanted to ride the hype around the tuner street racing subculture of the time. This game is pure guilty pleasure. Is the game good? Technically speaking, no. - The number of playable licensed cars are too low. The game says it has 50 cars, but in reality its only around 14 because one car model has like three or four edition variations. - The soundtrack is kinda ass. - There could be more tuning options. - There are too few races. - The police chases in the open world are just place holders because they are way too easy. - The respect grind just so you can finish the game is atrocious. - The enemy ai is way too trigger happy to crash into you during races for which the game punishes you, the player by detracting respect points. But despite all the weaknesses I still enjoyed the game. Except the part where I had to redo the two penultimate race series for ten hours to farm out enough respect points to be able to do the final race which is so easy compared to the other two that is pretty much doable on the first try. But then again I still enjoyed my first time with this game, but that's probably only because I love these NFSU style street racing games and mid 2000s pc janks. Would I recommend it to other NFSU fans? Only if they have already played to original and want to play something similar, just be ready that it is going to be a more bootleg experience. Btw SRS style wise is closer to NFSU then MC or Juiced. Lastly I like to say a few words about the games most unique feature, that sets it apart from the competition, the girlfriend system. It is obvious that their goal was targeting a more mature audience compared to EA while also competing with them, so that's why you'll only get bikini dance videos and nothing anymore spicy. Also if anybody would look into the history of the tuner subculture they would know that hot babes were just as much part of it as fast and bright colored cars. The videos and the way you acquire them also has that typical mid 2000s jank feel to it but to me its endearing and it was also a good look into a time capsule to see what was considered the 'standard female beauty' at the time. It is also cool that many of the girls are not just some random hookers they paid 500$ for three dance videos, but professional models for Playboy, porn actresses' or reality tv actresses and some of them even became big after they were featured in the game. Tldr: Game is ok, if you want AAA quality you not going to get it, if you like mid 2000s pc jank you'll like it, if you like NFSU tuner street racing games you going to enjoy it. 6.5/10
20 smtn yrs later and this game is still absolutely baller. Too many cars (who am I kidding, nowhere near enough), unbelievable (LICENSED) customization, and... women >:)
It still holds up pretty good in 2026. The car physics are good, have nice tracks and pokemon style chick collection. its somewhere between arcade and sim since you can damage your car during tournaments and you can actually feel aero , weight reduction , better tyres in game ( it spins out if its too light) overall a good old school racer however the graphics are kinda dated for 2026.
OBS: eu ja falei q tinha mulheres semi-nuas?
