Love the music, the storylines, and the animation style

It's about six hours to get through a campaign but the replayability looks very promising! I had a really good time and enjoyed the lore and characters! I enjoyed the protagonist too, Grace's visual design and Laura Bailey breathed a lot of life into her (as well as the other VAs!) is excellent

Stray Gods is a fun ride to enter. It’s a long movie where you actively take part in the story that is played out. The songs and singing overall as never awkward and felt nicely implemented into the flow of the game. It involves more difficult topics and left me with a somber mood. I was actually hoping for it to be a bit longer. If you enjoy story-driven visual novel type games, I can recommend this game. I also would’ve liked more interaction with the different characters before getting the chance to choose a romantic option. The way it was handled caused me to miss the exit, it seems. Nothing too bad, just a bit unfortunate. I also want to positively add that it should be easily playable if you are only able to use a mouse for example. You can disable timed events and the rest of the game feels like it only uses one button. I can’t speak for other accessibility features since I didn’t pay attention to them (besides making subtitles larger). Definetly recommend the game on sale, otherwise you probably have to know that you enjoy the genre.

good story. interesting to direct the story through song and choices. I played through it in 6 hrs but I'll probably play through again eventually to see other storylines, decisions, and relationships.

J'ai tout adoré ce jeu, l'histoire, les graphismes, etc... Le fait de pouvoir faire des choix qui influencent le déroulement de l'histoire permet de pouvoir y rejouer sans s'ennuyer.

A roleplaying musical, colour me curious. The story: At an audition for your band you meet a strange woman and a few hours later she ends up dying on your doorstep. Suddenly you get whiskered away and the Greek gods, who hide among the mortals, accuse you of murdering her to steal her powers and give you a week to prove your innocent or face execution. The gameplay: Calling the game an rpg is an overstatement. You mostly choose from a list where to go next and with whom to talk there. So visual novel would be more fitting but doesn’t have the same ring to it from a marketing perspective. The musical part to the title comes from powers you inherited. You can make the people sing their hearts desire which often leads to new clues for your investigation. The problems: I neither can nor want to give an analysis of the musical quality in the game. Let’s just say the songs are a hit or miss. I really enjoyed some and disliked others. The other problem is the illusion of choice. Similar to a lot of other story-driven games only a tiny amount of choices will have bigger impact. Sneaking past a bouncer? It doesn’t matter which of the three options you pick, all are successful. If you are interested in story-driven games and not afraid to sing your way to victory then give it a try.

This game is so cozy and interesting. All the songs were beautiful. I added some of them to my playlist. I recommend this game to anyone who loves musicals and Greek mythology.

This game was so good, the lyrics fantastic the singing really nice, that your decisions have actual consequences let me be so clear the anxiety i feel in some of these songs is so real.
