awesome game needs work. ps pls add destruction of trees and stuff as base building rn is kinda sucky
I kill a human and convert them to zombie then that zombie attacks to me (i am a zombie myself). i hope it's a bug because "it's not a bug, it is a feature" thing doesn't go with this kind of ridiculous mechanic. I wanted to support a game the day it released but it was a bad experience unfortunately.
Games good, solid idea and great support for it. Lacking in features (Some of the in-game buttons DO NOT WORK YET, DO NOT BE ALARMED), but the game is hardly a month old (publicly) and has amazing progress for the little time its been out. Small issues such as graphical errors (such as Militia shooting their guns while pointing them to their sides.), AI bugs, and the aforementioned features lacking, do exist. missions are small, packed, and quick if you know what you're doing. Minimal issues, some dialogue could be worded or fleshed out better. (Such as showing the player how Conversion works as a Zombie.) overall, as it is, 8/10 game. suggestions include, but are not limited to: auto conversion if Infector kills human enemy, Hazmat units to counter Infector/provide Infector debuff negation to allies, minor pathfinding tweaks, and faction unique abilities and/or Buildings (Barricades for Survivors, Ability to rise from graves if Human is killed by Infector "poison" damage...this also means adding a Graveyard building that could serve as a lure) possible new faction: Government, trying to maintain Order, Units like the aforementioned Hazmat could go here. (decom tents, conversion for Human factions maybe?)

As a prior note, i have only gotten to the fifth mission in the zombie campaign. there are quite a few things i feel worth note that i need to say now. this would be my first ever review so i am unsure if i can edit it later so forgive me if this doesn't reflect the game past that point. first things first, games 3 dollars, and it's very much worth it for the price even with some of the issues i would like to bring up. First things first, this game is not very intuitive, i struggled for about 15 minutes on the second mission trying to figure out how to build a meat pile, and while doing so i ended up attacking the town, this leads into another issue, that being mission progression bugs. on mission 2 once again i jumped the gun and killed the towns people before building my meat pile because i couldn't figure out how, and in turn couldn't complete the next objective of killing the people in that facility. there was one issue toward the end of this mission (or maybe the third) where you have to kill a bunch of cops to advance, i killed one and advanced the mission, while not game breaking it did make the ending to that level underwhelming. a small quality if life change i would appreciate but understand not being added would be playing the campaigns for the other factions without the need to complete the other campaigns, i want to go through and play the survivor campaign because i feel it would be more my speed but can't do so. theres a couple mechanics that i feel should be changed or added as they would make the game feel a bit better in the campaign mode at least. from what i've seen the zombies you turn but do not posses are hostile only to you and no other factions, to make this worse is that none of the enemy factions are hostile to them either. so whenever you kill an enemy you end up creating another that you have to kill. this wouldn't be so bad if taking control of those units felt a bit better, it's very hard with both the unit cap and the fact that i must use one of my valued labor force to convert those zombies to turn an enemy you kill, not only that, but while you're working to turn that zombie fights are still happening and not only do your units take extensive damage but the unit your converting will likely die and in turn waste a lot of your time. i understand there would be balancing reasons that this mechanic is in play but it doesn't feel right, but i think if one of these things were to change it would feel far more rewarding to kill your enemies Something that has been bothering me a bit as well is that, for some reason, i'm not sure if it's a bug or otherwise, when police or swat teams come to your base they move at lightning speeds, sense i haven't played that faction yet im unsure if it's because they're faster in general or if this was something meant for the campaign in order to speed up the arrival of those enemies at your base, which i understand, the map this starts happening on is a gigantic line that must be followed to reach either side, but once again something that doesn't quite feel right. all of those issues mix together rather poorly for the final mission in the zombie campaign that i don't feel like i want to try and finish at least at the moment. the enemies come from seemingly multiple camps and i can't outpace them, in addition if i try to convert their dead to buff my army i have to either bring them in while combats going on and likely lose them or wait until after when many of my zombies have died to attempt to replenish forces and often times doing so will make me lose even more troops. one last minor issue is the pathfinding and AI of my zombies, im unsure if you can turn it off, but on level 4 (i believe, forgive me if wrong it's been a few hours) when spawning zombies from my meat pile, they run directly up into the police stationed outside my base. this happens often where the zombies just run off toward anything that's a threat but that's not the issue, the issue is it's very inconsistent when it happens, if all of the zombies did or didn't do this it would be manageable but sometimes the zombies wont even attack the police that are about 2 meters away from them while their allies are getting gunned down. in addition, the zombies and police can occasionally hit through walls, at the first police station you destroy the police officer behind it opened fire through the station and on level 4 my zombies attempt to go around a metal fence where they then hit the enemy from the other side. At the moment that is my every critique, i think the game has a very charming style to it, for a 3 dollar game i think these issues can be EASILY overlooked, especially for a devs first game, and by god, if he gives it further support it's going to be even more worth it. Also sorry if i went to hard of you my boy
Thumbs up, would like to see more maps/map editor and game-play/type editor.
Great game needs a lot of updates
