Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Cute fun short game, not a normal rpg quest. Instead its more of diablo-like game where you pick your starting characters and have to delve into a common dungeon. Each route has a different playstyle due to the restricted class weapons/spells you can use. Overall its a fun game if you are in the mood for some older style rpg with kawaii anime girls.

I just can't play this game, everytime i get an different crash, "TypeError: cannot read property 'undefined' of undefined", or "TypeError: cannot read property 'RPG-Theme' of undefined" and it just keeps crashing, i'm really trying to play this thing, but it just doesn't want to be played. I somehow managed to get to Elvira, but if i try to go back to town, gear up and grind some levels, bang, another crash, it's completely unplayable and i'm really tired of retrying over and over again.
Didn't spend much for this game. The game was very entertaining. I enjoyed most of the classes, i really didnt like the warrior class, but i like the mild storyline with the warrior. Seem like she barely had any punch to her at all. Once i started the second character, I already knew what i could expend and what to buy. Personally, it kept me engaged to try out the other classes. I will definitely purchase the other sequels.
I have to give credit where credit is due. In this game, the developer has provided a robust offering and growth continues on the game. That is to say "the developer cares about this product, this product is small enough to actually have the developer read every post". A classic plot, coupled tension breaking fun throughout. A good "read" in the literary sense, jovial and interesting. A must have for any RPG fan. This game motivated me to publish my own RPG up on Steam. Check it out, The Goracle by Silent Daddio Studios. Your games should entertain you with a good story. I laughed out loud a few times with Strangers of the Power. It failed to make me cry, however, was not lacking in the passion. Thanks for making it available to play on iMac, that extra effort made a difference to me.
Pros: +Simple to learn +Graphics +Audio Cons: -Very short -Repetitive (you play as 3 diff characters but it is basically similar if not same playthrough)

Strangers of the Power, developed and published by Tuomo Laine under the Tuomo’s Games label, is a compact, retro-inspired turn-based RPG that embraces the traditions of classic 16-bit era adventures while presenting a focused and accessible fantasy quest. Built with clear affection for old-school dungeon crawlers and RPG Maker-style design, the game centers on a mystical northern city plagued by dark witches and corrupt magic. Rather than attempting to compete with sprawling modern role-playing epics, it narrows its ambitions to delivering a straightforward, character-driven journey built around exploration, party synergy, and traditional turn-based combat. One of the game’s defining features is its trio of playable heroines, each offering a slightly different approach to combat and progression. Players can choose between distinct protagonists who fill different tactical roles, ranging from frontline durability to magical offense or agile precision. Each heroine is paired with a companion, creating a small but meaningful party dynamic that shapes how battles unfold. These pairings subtly encourage experimentation; while the main storyline remains consistent, the feel of combat shifts depending on which character combination is selected. This design adds replay value without overwhelming players with overly complex class trees or intricate build systems. Combat itself follows a classic menu-driven format. Players select actions such as basic attacks, defensive stances, skill usage, and spellcasting in a turn-based sequence against enemies encountered during exploration. The pacing is measured and deliberate, allowing players to consider resource management, ability timing, and equipment synergy. While the mechanics are not deeply layered compared to larger RPG franchises, they are structured cleanly and remain engaging throughout the game’s runtime. Level progression unlocks new abilities and strengthens existing ones, reinforcing the familiar satisfaction of character growth without drowning players in micromanagement. Exploration is linear but purposeful. Dungeons and environments are structured clearly, emphasizing progression over labyrinthine complexity. Enemies are placed in ways that encourage steady advancement, and the balance between combat encounters and narrative beats keeps momentum consistent. The game avoids unnecessary padding, instead opting for a concise adventure that respects the player’s time. For some, this brevity may feel limiting, but for others it enhances accessibility, making the game approachable for those who enjoy classic RPG structure without committing to dozens of hours. Narratively, Strangers of the Power leans into familiar fantasy tropes—dark magic, mysterious witches, and a looming threat to the city of Serina—but presents them with a tone that feels earnest and personal rather than grandiose. Dialogue exchanges are straightforward, occasionally lighthearted, and reflective of the game’s indie roots. While the story does not aim for sweeping political intrigue or emotionally heavy arcs, it provides enough context and character interaction to give purpose to each dungeon crawl. The focus remains on the journey itself rather than elaborate plot twists, aligning with the game’s nostalgic design philosophy. Visually, the game embraces pixel art aesthetics that echo classic console RPGs. Character sprites, environments, and battle screens are functional and colorful, prioritizing readability over technical complexity. The art direction complements the straightforward mechanics, ensuring players can easily identify enemies, navigate maps, and interpret combat information. The soundtrack supports the atmosphere with simple but fitting melodies that reinforce the fantasy setting without overpowering the experience. Together, these elements create a cohesive retro presentation that feels intentional rather than dated. While Strangers of the Power may not introduce groundbreaking innovations to the genre, it succeeds in delivering a focused and heartfelt homage to classic RPG design. Its strengths lie in clarity, accessibility, and character-driven combat rather than mechanical depth or expansive worldbuilding. For players who appreciate compact dungeon-crawling adventures with familiar systems and a nostalgic tone, it offers a satisfying experience that remains engaging without overstaying its welcome. It stands as a testament to how a smaller-scale RPG, built with passion and respect for tradition, can carve out its own identity within a genre often dominated by larger productions. Rating: 6/10
