Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Phoque-Ahs game makes you play the whole way through before slapping you across the face with gear for classes you can't even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unlock without paying for the season pass. Piece of Chit scummy trash that punishes you for giving a phoque about it. Was good until squeenix decided to monetize it like a phoqing mobile game.
The best part of this game is definitely the combat. The job system was implemented really well. Killing enemies when you use deplete their break gauge was super satisfying and optimizing how to immediately deplete the break gauge of bosses basically killing them within seconds was really fun to do. The latter half of the story was also really cool, especially for final fantasy fans. This game is also like really funny cause of how goofy jack is. With that being said... IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD SOULS EXPERIENCE, DO NOT GET THIS GAME YOU WILL JUST BE DISAPPOINTED. The levels in this game suck ass, like genuinely. Aesthetically, the levels are distinct from each other and are actually interesting. What makes them suck is that all levels are designed the same and are very samey. What I mean by this is that the levels are basically linear as hell, which is not really a bad thing, but oh my god, ALMOST ALL AREAS IN A LEVEL LOOK THE SAME, THAT AT SOME POINT I WOULD JUST B-LINE TO THE BOSS AS FAST AS I CAN INSTEAD OF EXPLORING! In relation to that, there is also no point in exploring whatsoever, since you get gear from killing enemies. Also thank god for jack being funny because the first half of the story was so sleeper like I did not care about the cast besides jack because of how unserious he is. If you are planning to get this game, expect this to be a good action-rpg and not a souls like. 3.5/5

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great game, wish they could continue with this genre as they got a very good base.
kinda sick
“Chaos is the friends we made along the way” is the vibe I’m getting with this game. Jack Garland is the anti-hero Final Fantasy character I didn’t know I wanted, especially since his JP VA is Seto Kaiba. This is a slow-burning story that only makes sense if you finish it all the way up to the 3 DLCs, which takes quite a while. Despite the game having the Souls tag, it really doesn’t play like a Souls game. It features fast-paced action combat with the unique mechanic of soul burst and break bar, which is similar to the posture bar of Sekiro. Furthermore, it has a complex dual-job system and deep itemization, which takes build customization to the next level as far as min-maxing goes. The only downside I can think of is that the DLCs are locked behind higher difficulties, which can turn off most players. Progressing through that content requires proper builds, especially when you get to “Rifts,” which acts as a RNG dungeon endgame content. Fortunately, the game has Extra Mode when you finish the base game, which acts as an infinite MP mode to help you get started on DLC content. When you get to a point where it's not allowed anymore (Rift Lvl 22 and above), you should have a proper build going. Overall, Stranger of Paradise reminds me of Granblue Fantasy Relink with much stricter rules when it comes to the progression systems. As someone who likes making characters stronger in RPG games, this game really nails it due to its itemization and combat systems. Similar to the new Final Fantasy games, it doesn’t follow the traditional Final Fantasy formula, so keep expectations in check.
Great game! With a few upgrades will become Legendary!
