Sadly, an unfinished game. It felt fun, and like it had potential but it really falls flat in the end.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Too buggy, no more patches ever. Enjoyed it, but a bunch of game breaking bugs.
Fun game, but the building mechanics are broken. This has been shown to be in two ways so far, specifically with building a second floor. It seems this game just doesn't like it! It's actually kind of comedic, as the game has tutorial missions and its like the developers didn't even play it. To go into further detail, there is a tutorial mission that instructs you to build a second floor on a house right beside another one floor house with a roof, when building the second floor the walls are only partially built and a big gaping hole is left because the roof from the one story building right beside it apparently causes a collision issue. The second issue I'm having is building interior stairs, the game refuses to allow you to build a ceiling block (and hence forth a roof piece) above this. This refusal makes sense for the floor of the second story, but it doesn't make sense on the 3rd floor (the uh, roof of the room those stairs go up to) This review makes better sense if you've played the game, but assuming you've not, here's what I'm trying to say: The building mechanics in the game really limit your creativity, but aside from that this game has been a refreshing take on whatever genre this exactly is, it reminds me of a handful of games I don't play anymore because they're old: Planetbase, Banished, Stonehearth, Life is feudal forest village.
Way too much minutiae. I didn't even get to playing the real game as the last tutorial about electricty was the final straw for me. In previous tutorials the minutiae was presented as being a choice, but a tutorial about not only placing wind, diesel, solar panels and batteries, but a low battery sensor that you can customise to different circuits and threshold levels - hard nope for me. I was going to finish the tutorial until it brought up low battery amounts and sensors for enemies and I sighed and quit. The game seemed like it was work and no longer fun. I adore Frostpunk and Endzone and that level of customising things, not separate circuits for electricity generating machines for x3 people.
buggy and crashes too much to be able to know if its a good game
Probably the best game I’ve played in years. You can play it perfectly with a PS5 controller, and it’s incredibly fun because the controls are very intuitive and just feel great. Even after months, the game still has me hooked. And even if I take a long break, I can jump right back in and immediately have a lot of fun again—it pulls me in right away. It’s kinda a shame that there’s no new content for this absolute masterpiece :-( For me, a clear recommendation!

Quite an interesting survival manger setting in a sci-fi frame and a hidden gem in my eyes. I was long interested into Rimworld, but was disgusted by their pixel graphics, the pricing and the top-down view. Stranded: Alien Dawn has all their benefits and shows up with beautiful graphics and a lot more very interesting features. Works out of the box on Linux for me and the spoken Denuvo is no longer in place. Seems PDX skipped it, what was a huge plus for me to buy it. First you learn the game mechanics by a step-by-step tutorial before it's time to start your very own adventure. Your spaceship seems to be shot down and your small crew (depending on which scenario you choose) of 3, 4 or 6 survivors suddenly find themselves stranded on an alien planet. Some may be injured, some may be in psychologic crisis, others could be happy about surviving. Possibly you have chosen your crew in the settings...your choice. So you start building shelters, looting the spaceships wreck parts or trying to find out more about plants and species you encounter. The more you learn, the more options you gain and soon you have your first outpost running...if there weren't alien species (bugs!) that do not like your kind...or let's say appreciate the taste of your kind. All is your personal choice and quite soon you encounter you have personal buddies in your crew and it is going to be one step more than only a game. In my first game I didn't watch the clock and played 6 hours straight just to get a somehow stable shelter out of hey, because I did not find enough space metal to build some more stable ones. The hordes of bugs seem to have contact with each other and so I need to build a fence and some nasty traps to fix and kill them. Besides that, some of my survivors are quite good in growing crops, lately I learned how to tame gregarious animals and so I'm planning my very own future on this planet. The tutorial showed interesting future tech, up to electricity...still wondering why I should not build my very own spaceship, but probably PDX will deliver some patches or DLC's. The original devs just sold the game to PDX, so there are no planned updates in the near future, but I count on PDX to polish and extend this little gem. Don't get me wrong, the game is fully developed. It's just some ideas from my side, that I would like to see included...like the mentioned spacecraft my crew could possibly build on their own. Possibly it is already there and I just have to have the patience to get to this point. If not, there is possibly a mod to patch this feature in. There is a vivid workshop in place, so you have plenty of options to enhance the gameplay or start a quite different new game. As I have played a fair share of first-person survival games, it is fun to work things out in third-person view, where you only give orders and watch how good you trained or managed your crew. At least you could give direct orders, like to crew them up to beat those alien bugs as a team instead of single fights. I never played Rimworld, but watched some videos. Stranded: Alien Dawn is it in 3D with all the majestic planetary views you do not want to miss. Sometimes it reminds me a bit on Sims too, when I just watch and follow how my crew is working out my orders. Some hours I just think how to please them and figure out how to enhance the fun factor for them either...which is a core system of this game to survive. It's not all about technical stuff, you have to learn how to manage a team on personal level so you get maximum effectiveness. Having fun? Yes, indeed. So i do recommand this one! If you could grab it on a sale, you could not do anything wrong.
Спустя 5 часов я не понял ради чего я играю в нее , вышел из игры , зашел спустя 2 дня , поиграл час и удалил , жаль деньги нельзя вернуть !
