If this is a finished product, then I cannot use the excuse that this title needs work. Instead, I must compare it to other finished titles that it is directly competing with, such as Dwarf Fortress, Rimworld, etc. Stranded: Alien Dawn feels like someone realized there was money in this genre, and threw together something incredibly basic in order to cash in. Both DF and RW are cheaper than this title, yet offer significantly more replayability. The price tag does not make this title worth it, the gameplay makes me feel like this needs to be put into Early Access. Please take a look at the complaints people have about this title, pawns have zero self preservation, priorities are lopsided, difficulty scales too quickly, and the environment feels static and fake.
It's not bad, but the thing you need to be aware of is that this game is apparently abandoned at this point. Don't expect any updates or further development.
Stranded: Alien Dawn is what happens when The Sims and a colony builder have a baby, and that baby is deeply unbothered by the apocalypse. I breezed through the Droid DLC scenario feeling more like a suburban HOA president than a survivor. The droid attacks? Performative drama at best, the alien equivalent of someone ringing your doorbell and running away only for you to shoot them in the back with a sniper rifle and loot their corpse for materials to make a new lamp for your bedroom. The UI is an eye sore that took some getting used to, but despite its quirks I finished the whole thing. Solid replay value and the most stress-free existential crisis I've ever had.

Played this for free on console and now I played this on my PC. Highly recommended if you're in to strategy survival games. This game is best played on PC.
