Charming, fun, challenging, thoughtful. Great music, cool sounds and the world is really creative. The simple graphics help the player and are really pleasant. You may notice 'low' play time and my achievements don't show my full history with this game. I first bought it on Switch and liked it so much I got a Steam copy too! I probably have over 100 hours total across the platforms. You get a matrix of rooms to explore. The overall goal is to find enough keys to unlock the main boss door and win, then evacuate. Each mini-boss fight drops a key, but there are other fun and sneaky ways to get them! Each room of the matrix that you explore has a fight or special layout with something fun to do - perhaps a shop, a secret to discover, a prisoner to free, a console to hack, a challenge-fight... I don't want to give it all away, but there is plenty of variety and even after many hours of play, I don't feel any sense of heavy repetition, and I'm STILL finding new things. Movement is snappy, there's active/passive powerups, fun weapons/secondaries, and special skills too! As with other games from this developer, I found the graphical razzle-dazzle to be way too much and I had to turn it all off. It is absolutely dizzying. Thankfully you CAN turn it off. I also get that the dev is injecting light/dark humor into the game, but it gets carried away with the babble-speak throughout. When you can't even decipher what menus or a powerup do because the description is gibberish, you know they've gone too far. Unfortunately you CANT turn that off.
I spent some time mucking around with controls in the options menu. This game would feel a lot better to play if you could shoot vertically or 360 degrees. You can only fire left or right. I was pretty confused but the UI, but I was making progress clearing rooms and defeating waves of enemies. Some of the attacks by enemies look kinda tacky in contrast with the otherwise somehwat cool pixelart in the backgrounds. I dunno, this one ain't landing for me at all.
Super unique experience, difficult and rewarding, as well as gloriously ridiculous
This is a fantastic roguelike. It's criminally underplayed and underrated. I think that may be because it's weird af. Whoever made this game has obviously tripped a LOT. On psychedelics. Either that or they have way too much natural DMT in their brain because the visuals are very trippy. Also the intentional weird made up words is strange but funny. If you're not a strong english speaker you might have a hard time understanding what the dev(s) meant by some words. I give it a solid 8.5/10. It is HARD though
DISCLAIMER: This is a first impressions review, and NOT a full review
Straimium Immortaly is a game developed and published by caiys The game offers some nice graphics and a beautiful aesthetic which is pleasant all the same and has some amazing attention to detail even though it is a little rough around the edges The game does suffer with some repetitiveness at certain areas of the game but a fun game nonetheless and ends just at the right time Straimium Immortaly overall, however, is a fun game to play, yet sometimes repetitive and it does get boring if being played for a long time, but is a good action rougelike game to play in short bursts!
RECOMMENDED :)
REVIEW SOURCES:

None
Pretty good game, i enjoyed it pretty well, there are some issues i noticed such as the lack of a reminder for when trying to leaving the level without killing the boss and the lacking amount of hints for the puzzles that you find but either way its a fun game!
It's a rogue-lite version of Section-Z for the NES with the caiys flare and humor. Great Times.
I put in a lot of time with this game on my PS4, so you can ignore my playtime here... with that being said, this is one of the most unique shmup experiences I've had the pleasure of experiencing. The music is spectacular, the pixel art graphics are bright and colorful, the writing is whimsical and weird, and most importantly, the game is a ton of fun. The controls are intuitive and the enemies can be overcome with some knowledge of their attack patterns. There are many different styles to choose from, so if you have only a little amount of time, you can play a smaller game. There are TONS of unlockable hats, but there are plenty of characters, game modes, and modifiers to unlock as well. There was a lot of care and effort put into this game and it really shows. Couldn't recommend it any more!
