Potato Survival

Initially i bought only due to the title and thought it's just parody game. But it's better than i expected and i have some fun. I would recommend this game if you've played other game made by Gustav or just want short comedy/parody game which involve potato. The good: + Lots of potato recipes. + Survival story with some ambiguous aspect. I'm not sure whether [spoiler] shown event on certain task indicate the the game is set on alternate world, mere MC's (main character) delusion or perhaps both [/spoiler]. + Multiple endings, where the happy ending is quite heartwarming. + Fairly balanced game difficulty/mechanics (for comedy/parody game). It's unlikely you'll reach game over, but some strategy is needed to get certain ending. + Pleasent/pretty artstyle (some art refer to some popular internet culture) with fitting soundtrack. + Run well with Steam Proton, so it's likely this game is playable on Steam Desk. The bad: - It's possible to finish the game without ever eating or take a bath. I find it's ridiculous even considering it's comedy/parody game. The ugly: * The RNG could be more controlled. For example, [spoiler] on my 1st play-through knowledge thief only came to once, while on 2nd he come 3 times [/spoiler]. It also apply to RNG on chance of cooking potato recipe successfully.

내가 감자랑 요리도 하고 산책도 하고 연애도 하고 다했어

아무 생각 없이 하기 재밌어요 좀 씹덕 같아도 중독성 있고 평화로움

우울증에 걸렸을 때 크게 힐링을 해준 게임. 고립을 주제로 제작한 게임인 만큼 망망대해 위에 홀로 선 빌딩 위에 홀로 살고 있다는 설정이 차분함을 느끼게 해준다. 분명 혼자 살고 있음에도 정체불명의 병맛 감성으로 주변 인물들과 대화를 시켜 BGM조차 없이 조용한 진행 속에서도 지루함을 덜어주고, 적당한 거리감의 이웃이 생겨 잔잔하던 흐름에 약간의 활기가 돌게 하며 몰입감을 늘려준다. 게임 진행방식에 있어 설명이 약간 부족한 만큼 사전 정보가 없다면 첫 플레이에 엔딩을 보기는 조금 힘들 수도 있겠지만, 엔딩 역시 짧으면서도 인상적이고 낭만을 잘 챙겨 볼 만한 가치가 있다.

[/h1] the moment i saw this game for the first time, i instantly got attracted. the impression felt rlly intriguing and 'ungeneric,' and i wasnt wrong! glad i picked it up during its sale. the story is short but i feel its price is worth it, especialy for its rlly refreshing concept. as a completionist myself, the process feels quite frustrating as you have to go through multiple playthroughs in order to get all the achievements. nonetheless, it was a funny ride! enjoyed the meme references. the ending (the good one) was wholesome and made me feel sentimental in a way. i especially love the interactions with the characters, including the side ones. some times felt emotional, and those moments made me appreciate the game even more!
