Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 2 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

(Please don't mind my hours on the game, I played the xbox version and then bought this on christmas) SOOO, I played the remake alongside the GBA version of more friends of mineral town, and I'm so unbelievably happy with the remake on just about every level. Gray? he's awesome, he's beautiful, I saw him in the remake, and -- just like in the OG -- immediately had the overwhelming urge to make him a father. (It worked) This game -- and most other harvest moon / story of seasons games -- has SUCH a grip on me, and even though I've been playing these games since I was a kid, the bachelors/bachelorettes always somehow make me feel so happy and flustered when the dialogue gets sentimental. But I feel like that's universal, no matter how used to the games you get I'm also happy that the methods for progression aren't super tedious; as much as I liked mfomt, the worst part of it was having to wait every ... single ... Saturday to get a mirror, then a rug, then the kitchen, then every single kitchen utensil, and then the fridge and then the bed, AND THEN you could get married. Don't believe people when they say "they really didn't add quality of life things", because, (again, as someone who played the original and the remake practically side by side) I can assure you, they did. chickens/cows/etc AUTOMATICALLY go into the barn/coop after 8, the fact that they changed how you use the seeds to where you scatter enough for a 3x3 plot, and, the curser for when you use farming tools. All are QOL features. One thing I will say I missed, is Rival marriages: I know that the original MFOMT was sort of a part as to why rival marriages weren't featured in later games; but I personally really loved that others in the towns could get married, and have kids, and I really miss that. I also wish that the game was more mod-friendly, but I understand why its not. In short: I wholeheartedly recommend this game, whether youre new to harvest moon/story of seasons or not; this is a great entry to start out with; and I for sure also rec. many of the older games in the series, especially tree of tranquility / animal parade
FoMT is the best Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons game. The others are enjoyable in a lot of ways and every game has experimented with the formula with positive and negative results, but I just have not seen one that has topped this since it's original GBA release in 2003. It's a thousand small things that add together to make something great: being able to save any time, requiring breeding to livestock to rank it up, having multiple viable sources of income outside of crops, taking months to train for festivals in order to win, combined with all the typical stuff that makes life sim games great. The remake is true to the original. It just added 3d graphics and some polish to different game-play elements. Bring a controller or game pad for best results.

One of the biggest frustrations in this game is the collision system. Horses, for some reason, have colliders TWICE as wide as their actual models, leading to constant "traffic jams" in narrow town passages. The player and NPCs often get stuck, sometimes feeling like a soft lock - though, to be fair, these situations do tend to resolve themselves after a while. Cattle also behave strangely, phasing through each other, blocking interactions, and making simple tasks more frustrating than they should be. It feels like collision mechanics weren’t thoroughly tested, especially considering how many other games have solved these issues more effectively. The current system - where animals are slowly pushed aside - just isn't a great solution. Another issue is how overly strict some relationship progression conditions are. Advancing certain relationships requires being in a specific place, at a precise time of day, on the right day of the week, during the correct season, and sometimes EVEN under the right weather conditions. Without a guide or a wiki, figuring these out can be nearly impossible. And to make things worse, these short interaction windows can be completely overridden by events or bad weather, making the process even more frustrating. But to be honest, in this version, there are almost no missable bachelors or content. Once you know what to do, you can eventually achieve everything - it’ll just take more time. Despite these problems, the game still holds appeal. Due to its simpler mechanics and customization options, is more focused on the core loop. You're not overwhelmed with a thousand tasks to do each day like in games such as Stardew Valley. While this can make the game feel repetitive faster, more relaxing gameplay loop still offers a nice distraction. Additionally, it allows you to experience the series that basically pioneered this style of gameplay. It's a REMAKE of a REMAKE, but still relatively close to the roots of the original Harvest Moon games, which is fun to experience, especially if you've never played one before. And in the end, I absolutely adore the art style. If you prefer 3D chibi characters like in Animal Crossing over the pixel graphics of games like Stardew Valley, you'll likely enjoy this one a lot
感觉不如GBA的像素好
This game is really good, but still, not recommended for a child coz disgusting achievement "i choose you" is LGBT content. Better play harvestmoon back to nature.
its not like old harvest moon . this one is super boring.
Not a lot of types of crops, no encyclopedia to fill in, disabled the upgrade abilities from tools in the mine so you take a lot of time to go through it and lose a lot of stamina. Game slows down a lot when using tools, sometimes it will be a five second animation to use the hoe or hammer, it can make mining or picking crops take an extreme amount of time. Also Mugi stole my horse.
