Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 2 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Well, to be perfectly honest in my humble opinion without being sentimental, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in distinct perspective and without condemning anyone's view and by trying to make it objectified and by considering each and everyone's valid opinion I honestly believe that I vividly don't have anything to say. Thank you.

STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of Mineral Town Master Review (2025 Edition) - Farming, Feelings, and a Fixed-Up Classic ⭐ 4.5/5 stars — Three stars for charm, one and a half for the glow-up. Holding the last half hostage until we get a free-roaming camera. Let’s be real: Friends of Mineral Town is the warm hug of farming sims. The original already had that “cozy 2003 summer vacation” vibe, and this PC remaster actually does it justice — without turning it into some weird mobile cash grab or pixelated NFT hellscape. It’s cuter. It’s smoother. The animals are fluffier, the crops are crisper, and the controls no longer feel like you’re fighting the game to water your turnips. Actual quality-of-life improvements? Yes please. Inventory? Streamlined. Character portraits? Adorable. Milking cows? Still oddly satisfying. The new art style? Controversial for some purists, but honestly it’s like watching your childhood crush come back from study abroad — glowed up, still the same heart underneath. BUT. And here’s the one thing keeping this from 5-star farming perfection: No camera control. Come on, Marvelous. You gave us better tools, better UI, more charm… Why not let us pan the camera a little? Imagine rotating the view while your character sits under a tree. Zooming in on your dog doing nothing. Spying on the harvest sprites like a curious creeper. It would’ve been chef’s kiss levels of immersion. Summary: Visuals: Cute as hell. Gameplay: Classic farming loop with modern polish. Controls: Way better than the GBA thumb cramp era. Camera: Tragically stuck in “2003 nostalgia mode.” Overall vibe: Wholesome, peaceful, 10/10 would marry Karen again. Final Verdict: This remake is a love letter to fans that actually understands what made the original great. It's cozy, charming, and easy to lose yourself in for hours. Just give us the dang camera controls next time so we can look around our beautiful little town like the nosy digital farmers we are. Yours Truly, -MasterLuis
as someone whose first ever farming sim was harvest moon: more friends of mineral town, the remake is welcomed with a sense of nostalgia and hesitancy from me. on one hand, i enjoy the extensive updates where we now have cute coloured cows and a cuter redesign of many beloved character, on another, i do miss the rival events and how we can support other npcs as the town continues to move forward with us, not lagging behind as the player becomes the only person to have any life change. overall, story of seasons: friends of mineral town is a comfortable repackaging of an old, precious and familiar thing but not quite. i would still recommend it for people who like the new changes, as there are still many contents worth exploring.
9/10 For The Harvest Moon Game -999 For The DEI/WOKE Agenda This is my childhood game and I remember playing this game when I was a Bocil. The Original (Japanese version) of this game is sooo good and hold a lot of memories within me. But this version is ruined by the DEI/WOKE Agenda, and you can see it from the Art (it is soulless compared to Original) also this game allowed SAME SEX MARRIAGE. Yes meaning that YOU CAN BE GEI! DISGUSTING! I hope every game stay away from the Sweet Devil Inc. or other Political agenda. So the game is good but the DEI/WOKE agenda is bad.
(Please don't mind my hours on the game, I played the xbox version and then bought this on christmas) SOOO, I played the remake alongside the GBA version of more friends of mineral town, and I'm so unbelievably happy with the remake on just about every level. Gray? he's awesome, he's beautiful, I saw him in the remake, and -- just like in the OG -- immediately had the overwhelming urge to make him a father. (It worked) This game -- and most other harvest moon / story of seasons games -- has SUCH a grip on me, and even though I've been playing these games since I was a kid, the bachelors/bachelorettes always somehow make me feel so happy and flustered when the dialogue gets sentimental. But I feel like that's universal, no matter how used to the games you get I'm also happy that the methods for progression aren't super tedious; as much as I liked mfomt, the worst part of it was having to wait every ... single ... Saturday to get a mirror, then a rug, then the kitchen, then every single kitchen utensil, and then the fridge and then the bed, AND THEN you could get married. Don't believe people when they say "they really didn't add quality of life things", because, (again, as someone who played the original and the remake practically side by side) I can assure you, they did. chickens/cows/etc AUTOMATICALLY go into the barn/coop after 8, the fact that they changed how you use the seeds to where you scatter enough for a 3x3 plot, and, the curser for when you use farming tools. All are QOL features. One thing I will say I missed, is Rival marriages: I know that the original MFOMT was sort of a part as to why rival marriages weren't featured in later games; but I personally really loved that others in the towns could get married, and have kids, and I really miss that. I also wish that the game was more mod-friendly, but I understand why its not. In short: I wholeheartedly recommend this game, whether youre new to harvest moon/story of seasons or not; this is a great entry to start out with; and I for sure also rec. many of the older games in the series, especially tree of tranquility / animal parade

I wanted to like this game so badly! I really enjoy playing SoS Games overall. But this just feels like a massiv waste of my time. Here are some Pro / Cons: + Graphics + Original Soundtrack + Almost instantly infinit storage space in the House - Friendship points degrade if you dont talk to them daily (quite fast actually) --> Same for the little Spirits helping ya. If you dont give them a break and gift them stuff, they stop working for you. - Some recepies are just available in certain time spans or days. If you never played the OG you dont know that, unless you google - Same thing with Kappa / Harvest Godess. Never had a clue till I googled. - Mines are impossible to beat without gifting the godess 100+ Items or using Save/Load Cheat tactics. - No Quality of Life Updates what so ever. - Modding is almost impossible due to really encrypted coding. So no quality of life updates there as well - If you dont have empty tool belt slots, you might never get a fishing rod - if you dont upgrade your barn and coop , youll never unlock processors --> Mind yourself, money to upgrade isnt the issue, but wood and stone. Its almost impossible to upgrade both without purchasing the materials. My Opinion: I stopped at the 2nd of Winter. Why? I farmed wood and stone for the complete year, got all recepies from the town members, cheated my way trough the mines and now... idk what to do. It lost the spark. 20h+ for literally grinding till failure for nothing. Couldnt upgrade the Barn or Coop, nor my House to marry. Luckily got it at Sale for 10€, but do not recommend unless you like to farm for ages, without actuall rewards.
