I fell in love with this game all over again the same way I fell in love with the GBA version. Went in for the cute graphics and chill gameplay, got hooked by the absolute CASH MONEY the 18th Spring Horse Race gave me. Two objectively bad things I noticed in mid-game. - The new UI renders one end-game item useless, but there have been no motion to rectify this. - The pitfalls in Stardew Valley offers strategic advantages. This game's pitfalls forces you to fall and make you lose track while clearing out big floors. Significantly less fun.
先说优点，音乐满分，在原作矿石镇的伙伴原声带的基础上给四个季节都增添了一两首精心制作的音乐，听起来生机勃勃，完全不会觉得无聊，还对原版音乐进行了变奏，听起来充满回忆又不失韵味。很难想象一个十多年前的游戏放到今天原封不动地搬上来居然还是不失时髦，充满了游戏性和趣味。3D化本是一件好事，也能看得出这作重制是想走子供向，所以人物设计从头到脚都很低龄，然而子供向不等于唐，矿石镇之所以充满感动是因为矿石镇的每一个人都很有魅力和气质，这些人相聚在一起组成了一个充满温情的桃花源。好在实际体验跟原作相差无几，人物立绘丑动物设计丑我也懒得喷了。至于制作组对圈米的积极性以及十多年来丝毫没有进步的坚强意志力，我深感佩服，本是可以做成一个大IP的牧场物语硬生生被你们这些蠢竹搞成了小作坊。言尽于此，新作风之集市重制也是毫无进步不打算入手，等什么时候能认真做游戏了我再给脸色。

Story of Seasons - Friends of Mineral Town has been objectively speaking a good game to play however, if you are also one of those people who have played games like Stardew Valley before, you might find this game a little bit boring. Some things that I personally didn't like about this game are events across the whole year are very repetitive, mining in this game only involves destroying rocks to find stuff like copper ore etc (to upgrade your tools), maybe some diamonds/crystals (if you manage to reach deeper levels in the mine) but please note that your stamina goes down very quickly in this game so I would suggest watching a video clip on YouTube as there are some people who have posted about tips and tricks on how to resolve this issue through creating different save files. Also, if you exit the mine at any point and you wish to enter again, you will have to start from level 1 :( If we compare mining in Stardew Valley, you not only get to mine for more interesting stuff but you also get to fight things along the way and that's one the things that a lot of people might feel this is something that Story of Seasons is missing as mining is quite basic in this game. Other things that I didn't necessarily like in Story of Seasons was how quickly the time flies (I believe its even faster than in Stardew Valley) and you don't get a chance to do everything that you would like during the day and also, the character dialogue/interaction between other characters in the town is quite basic too. However that being said, I have found Story of Seasons to be still an enjoyable and chilled game to play in the evening and it was perfect to unwind and relax after a long day at work. If you are one of those people who have played the original version of this game (unfortunately not me), give this game a go as I'm sure you will enjoy it :) Overall, I think Story of Seasons has a lot of potential and objectively speaking it has been a nice experience to play it and if you haven't played it before, give it a try :)
I still hope that the relevant NPC objects can still get married like in the old version. I am a little disappointed that these were deleted in this remake.
