Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 2 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of Mineral Town is a heartfelt and immersive farming simulation that beautifully revitalizes the classic gameplay of its beloved predecessor while infusing it with modern enhancements and a warmly inviting atmosphere. Developed by Marvelous, this game offers players the chance to step into a charming rural world where agriculture, community, and personal relationships intertwine to create a deeply satisfying life simulation experience. Whether you’re tending crops, raising animals, or building bonds with townsfolk, the game captures the essence of small-town life with sincerity and attention to detail. At its core, the gameplay focuses on managing a farm that players inherit, providing an open-ended sandbox to cultivate crops, nurture livestock, and upgrade your homestead. The farming mechanics are thoughtfully designed, allowing for gradual progression as you unlock new seeds, tools, and farming techniques. Seasons play a crucial role, influencing what can be planted and when, which adds a natural rhythm and planning element that encourages players to strategize throughout the year. Raising animals such as cows, chickens, and sheep is equally rewarding, with care routines that contribute to farm productivity and bring a sense of attachment to your animal companions. Beyond farming, Friends of Mineral Town shines in its community and relationship-building aspects. The town’s residents are fully fleshed-out characters with their own personalities, daily routines, and stories to uncover. Players can forge friendships, participate in festivals, and even pursue romantic relationships culminating in marriage and starting a family. These interactions add emotional depth and motivation, enriching the gameplay loop with social goals alongside agricultural ones. The writing is charming and often humorous, with heartwarming moments that make the world feel alive and inviting. Visually, the game embraces a colorful and stylized aesthetic that retains the nostalgic pixel-art charm of the original while incorporating modern polish. The environments are vibrant and detailed, from lush fields and quaint town streets to serene forests and riversides. Animations are smooth and expressive, enhancing the sense of immersion and making daily activities like watering crops or interacting with villagers feel lively. The soundtrack complements this atmosphere perfectly, featuring a collection of soothing and catchy tunes that reflect the seasons and moods of Mineral Town. Gameplay is further enriched by a variety of side activities and mini-games that break up the farming routine. Fishing, mining, and foraging offer additional ways to earn income and gather resources, while festivals and contests provide entertaining challenges and opportunities to deepen relationships. The game’s pacing is well-balanced, giving players freedom to explore and experiment at their own speed without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Progression is steady but rewarding, with new content and upgrades gradually unlocking to keep the experience fresh. While Friends of Mineral Town excels in many areas, it does present a few minor limitations. Some players might find the farming mechanics repetitive over time, especially during extended play sessions without much variation in daily tasks. Additionally, the game's open-ended nature means that goals are largely player-driven, which might not appeal to those who prefer more structured objectives or narrative focus. However, these aspects are largely subjective and are outweighed by the game’s relaxing and engrossing qualities. In summary, STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of Mineral Town is a lovingly crafted farming and life simulation that successfully marries nostalgia with contemporary design. It offers a rich, multifaceted experience where players can lose themselves in the rhythms of rural life, cultivate meaningful relationships, and build their dream farm at their own pace. With its charming characters, beautiful visuals, and deep gameplay systems, it stands as a standout title for fans of the genre and anyone seeking a peaceful yet engaging virtual escape to the countryside. Harvest Moon Back to Nature Version HD
Really cute and reaxing, and definitely filled me with nostalgia! I/ve played the PS version of HMBTN long time ago and this SOSFOMT is a well made remake tribute of it! Really hope they could make mining easier and feel more rewarding though
It brings back the memories when i used to play the original one on Playstation. What a Good Game!
ta bonito 👍
Highly recommending this game ONLY for people who played the original Harvest Moon game, this game is (imo) just a nostalgia bait. If you never played any of the Mineral Town related Harvest Moon game, this game is probably not for you. ***** Mini rant below ***** The most annoying part in this game is the animations that the player do to indicate their stamina. Why do we need visual cues when we have stamina and fatigue bar already? Whenever you hit the halfway mark of your stamina, the player will still have that annoying animation of them kneeling/wiping their face. First few hours, yeah, this is cute. A homage to original game. After 4 seasons though? Wasting my few seconds of gameplay for useless animations.
