Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.71/day in the week to Aug 22 → 12.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Eternal Threads.
The Deep called The Deep came Everything is shiny Everything is gross Lick the oil
Amazing
made me shed a tear
I really don't enjoy Horror games. This looked intriguing, however, so I decided to give it a shot. Gameplay-wise it's like others are saying. It's fairly minimal and acts more like a walking simulator with a few high intensity moments. But the story... and the setting... you can tell the creators really put work and love into this game. This is where it shines. I really loved the oil rig setting, and the crew were just such great characters. The story is what really drove it home for me. The real question though: Can I recommend this for $35? I am pretty sure that with a 6.5 hour playtime, I went slower than most people. $35 for even a 6.5 hour long game that honestly kind of railroads you into the path they want you to take is not a price I can say "I recommend this" to. Most AAA titled games (for perspective comparison only) run about $60 or $70 and usually give you about 50-60 hours of gameplay for generally minded main story progression. So for a AAA title game you get a value of $1.20/hr worth of gameplay, whereas in Still Wakes the Deep, it's more like $5.38/hr (at my slower playthru pacing). This really makes it hard for me to put a YES to recommend. But if you got it on sale for $20 or $25, I'd say this could be a good pickup if it's something that interests you. The Devs definitely cared about this product and they have my support.
