Giving this game a thumbs up because overall it was an enjoyable game if you get it on sale. But from someone who has played several games of this genre, there are several others that do it much better. First off let me say thank God for closed captioning. The Scottish accents are very strong in this game and if not for closed captioning I would have missed a great deal of dialogue. The story and gameplay are 100% linear and they missed out on several opportunities to let you make some choices. Without spoilers there is a point in this game where it felt like you should be able to save a main character but you couldn't. The ending would also have benefited from letting you make a choice. The stealth mechanics are done much better in other games as are the scare factors. Again, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this play through but several others do it much, much better. If you enjoyed this game may I suggest you try Soma and some of the Resident Evil games.

First time i saw this on youtube i didnt watch alot till i decided to watch it again and again and if i didnt make that choice i would have been depressed this game honors a 1b out of 10 the first time i hadent seen a game that didnt evolve around and popular horror this is the only horror game out there where the dev's actually digged deep into horror and found how to scare people this made me cry sad angry and ♥♥♥♥ myself this is the best thing i have ever seen and i will glaze it to the end of my life
Что могу сказать, решил попробовать данную игрушку из-за того, что понравился сиквел Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 от команды The Chinese Room (прошу не хейтить, игра сильно отличается от первой части, но, несмотря на многочисленный хейт игроков мне очень понравилась сеттингом и атмосферой и нуарным дизайном), и решил полистать - посмотреть, что ещё есть от этого разработчика на торговой площадке. Увидел сие чудо, почитал отзывы и решился взять попробовать. И ни разу не пожалел об этом! Это просто пушка-бомба, особенно если играть с геймпадом, выключенным светом вечерком и в наушниках. Сюжет до банального прост, спойлерить не буду, помню, как сам ловил кайф от завязки. Есть маленькая очевидная отсылочка. Фамилия главного героя Маклири, а героя из фильма (1982 года который), с которым многие в отзывах ассоциируют игру - Макриди :) Хотя, может это уже просто совпадение и моё больное воображение. Звуки и эмбиент тоже на высоте, особенно порадовала озвучка [spoiler]мясного шарика с не помню какой фамилией на центральной палубе, от которого нужно было, прячась, бежать до лифта[/spoiler]. Очень благодарен за весёлые субтитры, которые временами разбавляют атмосферу и вызывают смесь страха и улыбки :) [spoiler]Особенно когда убегаешь от мутировавшего Ренника по коридорам, а он орёт тебе спину: "Я тебе голову отверну, ублюдок ё*аный"[/spoiler]. Попробовать однозначно стоит, игрушка реиграбельная (лично для меня), стоит того, чтобы потратить на неё своё время. Кому-то будет страшно, кому-то нет, но честно скажу - в некоторых моментах даже у меня волосы на жопе шевелились, жутких моментов тут хватает. Любителям отстрела толп врагов и вообще зубодробилок вряд ли зайдёт - здесь упор на сюжет и атмосферу, а также взаимодействие с окружающими предметами. Собственно, это плюсы. Из минусов только длительность сюжета и прохождения, в остальном ребята молодцы, получилась очень интересная страшилка.

incredible voice acting, but as a horror game this is very lackluster.
I liked the game, it's like a horror walking simulator, perfect to blast through and soak in the setting and story. Without giving away too much, it's kind of a cross between Deepwater Horizon and HP Lovecraft. I really enjoyed the voice acting, with all the thick Scottish accents; the actors really sold their parts. If I had to complain a little, the controls could feel a bit unresponsive at times (mainly when I'm trying to flee from something and the "run" button seems to do nothing) and there was some minor jank here and there. Nothing too bad though. If you enjoy horror and want a fairly short linear experience, this game is honestly great.
