About
Stick and Stack adds a deep new layer of challenge to the tried and true block stacking, line clearing, action puzzler game-play formula. Pieces wont just slide past each other, as soon as they come into contact they'll stick in place!

Make use of seeds which grow vines into hard to reach gaps and powder bombs which can smooth over the stickiness of a small section of your stack to overcome this new sticky situation. But you'll still need to learn a whole new way to stack your way to victory!
Play any one of three modes that suit different lengths of play, with a complete set of handcrafted difficulty levels for each mode that provide the perfect level of challenge for anyone from a complete beginner to the best of the best.

Works well on Steam Deck. Really fun mechanicks: while immediately familiar as a tetris game, it flips the gameplay on its head. Takes a while to unlearn the deeply ingrained intuition on how the pieces should behave, but this is the sauce of the game and makes for an interesting puzzle. Suddenly the 4x1 pieces are the least wanted! Great music (although I wish there were more tracks), sound effects, visual effects and graphics. Its quite a polished experience, and well worth the price.
I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't fully convinced about this game when I first saw it. But it really surprised me with how fun it is. Having the blocks stick to each other truly changes up how you have to strategize to fill the board without getting stuck. I thought it might be a bit frustrating but it was a surprisingly friendly challenge. There are plenty of different game mode with different difficulty modes if you want more of a relaxed run or a tough challenge to fill your socks 🧦! If you're a fan of Tetris games or even puzzle games this is one for the library!
do you prefer your tetris with or without nuts
This little game is a great twist on the usual Tetris formula, so much so that you kind of have to unlearn some rules of Tetris in order to get a hang of the new ideas presented here. But because of that this game is pretty forgiving as you learn the ropes, which in turn makes it more engaging as you discover all the ways the new mechanics can be used. Overall I'd say to give this game a shot if you wanna have a casual change of pace to the usual Tetris style of gameplay.
it's all right, only preference i would want would be the bag preview showing more pieces which would help with planning out setups
An extremely interesting spin on a classic game with a lot of complexity offered in the gameplay. It has a unique challenge; the new mechanics switch up the strategy significantly from what we're used to doing in classic Tetris. I was addicted to this game immediately and dumped 24+ hours into it when I tried it during the beta. I would recommend it to any Tetris fan. The developer really seems to care about this game and about balancing it, and I'm looking forward to whatever future updates come along. I'd love to see a ghost piece option added to the custom difficulty mode (although I don't miss it as much as I initially thought now that I'm accustomed to the mechanics), and for the seed generation algorithm to feel a bit more consistent with the expected probabilities of the level, but in any case I can't stop playing. I really love this game and have already bought two copies.
A really fun new spin on the classic-ness of Tetris. I definately did NOT get stuck on the first tutorial level because I kept forgetting the pieces stick together XD. It challenges your brain in new ways and makes you do some mental gymnastics if you are too used to regular Tetris. Highly recommended!
This is such a creative spin on an old classic. The art is beautiful and the game play is super smooth. It took me a bit to re-wire my brain to get used to some of the mechanics, but once it started clicking, it was extremely satisfying. The mechanics were obviously well though out and they are quite clever. It's absolutely insane to me that this game has not received more love. BUY IT! PLAY IT! GGs to the dev!
