Steredenn is a very good Rogue-like Bullet Hell Shmup.
That being said, I cannot recommend it to people without also saying that it is a really hard core game which I find crosses the threshold from fair to unfair often. Be it that you stand in front of a normal "elite" enemy that suddenly switches firemode and starts blasting you with fast flying projectiles or the Boss doing the same. There is also no graphic indicator as to when an enemy shoots, which would help the issue tremendously. Just a small blinking or something would be enough. I know this is not the norm in shmups but in most shmups enemies not suddenly switch the way they shoot. In one run the same enemies switch shooting mode... in the next run they don't, total unpredictable, even though you do see an effect when theis witch... you just can't predict which of the many ways they can shoot they will shoot. Most shmups are predictable which is part of why they work. This game here switches up how enemies shoot from one second to the next and an enemy that just a second ago peppered the whole screen with bullets suddenly shoots a barrage of 5 projectiles that fly fast and are aimed strait at you. Where is the point of having melee weapons if you can't predict when it is save to go in? Also the basic melee weapon of the first ship has a delay, so you better time it right. But... if you like Rogue Likes where you can't predict how the next run looks like... Steredenn is a really good game. The pixel Art is fantastic, with a good Art Style. You have all kinds of weapons, and the Music is also pushing you to play more.
good game fast, arcade style, enjoyable to discover all the weapons, and I like the soundtrack. Not the most replay value I imagine ill end off having played around 40 hours. For any seasoned bullet hell player this is a bit on the easy side.
Game is awful, don't waste your money. Cheapest game I've played in awhile. Really not sure how anyone is supposed to get anywhere close to 'progression' in this game.
Good enough to be disappointed when it crashes(and it will). When it loses its connection to the leaderboards for a second, your game will lock up and you'll be forced to quit. No option to continue in an offline mode or save your game for later. It just becomes unresponsive but the timer is still ticking away letting you know it's still running... Fun for awhile but ultimately needs some TLC and fine-tuning that it never got. Graphics and music aren't bad but they get repetitive fast. Creative upgrade system. It's an Interesting idea for a shmup but poorly executed.
A good game that I die a lot in where you can fly a space ship that sometimes has saws There is a multiplayer mode, which is neat, although in some ways its a bit of a debuff because that's more you have to keep track of on screen and iirc you both share the same health bar I really like the music fade at the start of levels. I think it's a very nice touch my space ship has a KNOIFE 10/10

hope in and play, no fluff shmup with a nice sound track.
fantastic and addicting rogue like! love the aesthetic and the music
