Developed by 5pb. and Nitroplus, STEINS;GATE was awarded Famitsu magazine's coveted annual Game of Excellence award and was voted one of the most emotionally charged “tear-inducing games” ever made, in a Famitsu poll. It is a gripping and moving Visual Novel, which has already spawned manga and anime adaptations.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.83/day in the week to Aug 5 → 12.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

一切都是命运石之门的选择
In terms of visual novels, absolutely an all time great for a reason. There's a lot of small things and imperfections to pick on, particularly in the first few chapters, but overall, its damn good. With more time to tackle the themes and characters of the story compared to the anime, the overall experience just ends up feeling a whole lot more complete, and if we never got a sequel, I'd honestly be happy with just this on its own. Definitely worth your time.
just peak
Sometimes, after watching a movie or series or finishing a game, I wish I could wipe my memory just to experience it all over again. Steins;Gate is one of those titles. When I started the anime a few months ago, I had no idea just how fantastic it was. Aside from a few subtle hints, the viewer has no way of guessing what might happen next; when things start to fall apart in Steins;Gate, everything collapses at once—and then it happens all over again. The anime is brutal to almost every character. Shortly after, I decided to begin my journey with the series by playing the related title Chaos;Head Noah first, intending to move on to this one once I finished. The game is the same way. At times, it’s even more intense... Suzuha’s letter is heart-wrenching, Nae’s future in one of the world lines sends shivers down your spine, and some of the game’s endings are... truly harrowing. The characters are vivid, original, and fascinating—especially the protagonist, whose experiences transform him in many ways. The game successfully blends science fiction with real-world science. It features the same voice actors as the anime, as well as the excellent soundtrack. I won’t go into the plot details, but the script was written by a master. Steins;Gate offers six endings, but only one—the "True Ending"—is the good one. Every other ending is depressing to varying degrees. I suggest that anyone playing for the first time avoid using online guides during their initial playthrough. Personally, I tried to make decisions that aligned with the spirit of the anime, but I didn't stand a chance; the True Ending requires some serious lateral thinking and a lot of trial and error to avoid missing the opportunity to unlock it. Otherwise, the player is left with the bittersweet endings featuring Mayuri or Kurisu. Nevertheless, I highly recommend completing Steins;Gate in every possible way. On Steam, you can't give a rating higher than a "thumbs up"—which is a shame, because I’d give it two at once. My numerical rating is, of course, 10/10.
