State of Anarchy is a highly repetitive top-down shooter with simplistic stick-character or doodle drawings. It initially looks novel, didn't particularly like it myself, but you've quickly seen everything there is to see. Playable with mouse and keyboard. Not really a twin-sick shooter because that would imply proper gamepad support. I didn't like how it controlled, especially with the car, where I constantly got stuck on things. I hated the constantly respawning enemies, but I guess that provoked "anarchy". The game quickly got stale with the same loop every level. Run and/or drive to a bank while killing or avoiding everything in your way. Enter said bank, kill the enemies and reach the level boss at the far end which often has a new weapon. New weapon which you'll use from then on. Rinse and repeat. You cannot select previous weapons. I managed to finish about half the levels before it got too tough for me.
