A perfect mix of tactical gameplay in a deckbuilding roguelike, balanced well enough to mostly not feel frustrating. Although the gameplay is great, most other things are just so-so. The story is kind of just there, the "lore" is mostly irrelevant, you will not thing about the characters as much as you will about their differences and the mechs they pilot (seriously, is this game tagged "visual novel" for what reason other than attempting to reach a wider audience...?), the final true boss is technically impossible before you unlock Min's Button if you want to see the "good ending"... And while I do like the general implementation of the Chrono Tokens I do NOT like the by-now "traditional" choose-3 picking; I'd rather that I could pick from a wider choice without being able to reroll probably, since a lot of times your choices are not very good by design. Music and sound effects are okay. Visuals are nice. The game has a memory leak if you do too many runs in a row without quitting the game; not very nice, and I don't expect most people to run into this issue, but it's worth mentioning since I don't believe it will ever be fixed by the devs. Just saying... The time I spent (before reviewing) was how long I played for 100%. Probably could have done it earlier but also something you may want to consider if you're also going to attempt to do that. And in the end, yes: I recommend Starvaders. Good stuff, one of the games that let you stop at any moment and continue from that spot whenever you are ready.
Game is fantastic.
画风玩法都不错
So far this game is really fun, but I am worried it might be too easy to have a lot of replayability. Playing combos is really fun though, so even when you are stomping the enemies it is very rewarding. I won all 3 of my runs so far, with the third being on apocalypse difficulty without taking any doom or using any chrono-tokens. I'm not sure if I have just been getting lucky so far or not though.
This is a fairly unique and rather interesting roguelike. I liked most of it, just did not like the last playable mecha, as it did not make any sense compared to how brilliant the first and second are. Great gameplay, amazing replay value and overall amazing game I did not expect. There are a few odd mechanics along the way that could use some rework, but nonetheless amazing experience! 8/10
새로운 매크 내줘
可能是我年纪大了吧,这游戏的卡牌描述过于拗口,词条又多又抽象,玩起来太便秘了,碰瓷不了一点陷阵之志
画风好看,玩起来随机性挺大,还不错。
Good roguelite gem!
J'ai beaucoup aimé le potentiel de combo et de run. Le jeu est bien équilibré, pas trop long et pas trop court
