Prices

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Jul 22 → 2.88/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
With the amount of hours of fun this game has provided me, I felt it important to give it a review. It's one of the best deckbuilder's I've played, with cards and relics I initially thought useless playing a pivotal role in at least 1 of my future runs. Each character feels unique and has a mostly different playstyle, and the game is challenging enough at higher difficulties completion of runs feels earned, and the game rewards both good deckbuilding and good play, that with good skill and understanding you can chain wins. A great game that really is a gem in my library, would recommend.

Got this on a HumbleBundle deal. Given the price, I genuinely tried to like it and give the game a fair go. In the interests of transparency, not a fan of card games but are a fan of Mech ones, so should have been a decent play I’m sure the developer put their heart and soul into it. But it’s really not very fun. I got through the tutorial then a few levels. I played till some unlocks, hoping it would get better. It just didn’t, and life is too short. Your mileage may vary, but can’t honestly recommend. Runs smoothly on SteamDeck.
The best Deck builder I have ever played. Even more awesome than Wildfrost and Trials of fire, my previous two favorites in the genre. Edit: I've come to the conclusion that spells are a bit gimmicky. They tend to dominate too much in late game and there isn't really any strategy to the majority of them. You just cast them whenever they become fully charged. And I am not really a fan of the fact that a couple af cards and artifacts kind of break the game. Recycler and Void storm come to mind. That said I still think Starvaders is a great game. Runs with pilots that belong to Gunner and Stinger are super fun and most of those pilots feel completely unique. So, after revising my ranking list, Starvaders is my third favorite deckbuilder of all time (after Wildfrost and Trials of fire).
Really fun deckbuilder with some unique spins. Fantastic soundtrack.
Another gem from Humble Choice (February 2026) This game oozes personality. Fantastic art direction, a banger soundtrack, zany characters - all packaged competently into a slick deckbuilder that combines classic rogue-lite deckbuilding with grid tactics. Playing this game feels like injecting a Saturday morning cartoon / anime straight into your veins and it's awesome. It also runs well on the Steam Deck, so you can play it on the go too!
Game rewards small decks, and I have a small deck
Initially I thought this game was pretty simple as far as roguelike deckbuilders go. It's a take on Space Invaders, how deep can it be? But the designers of this game made some interesting choices! Unlike most games in the genre, avoiding damage isn't important. You get hit by an enemy in this game, you add a Slimed (STS) to your discard. That means playing really aggressively is key and damage is key. This game is also not afraid to let you do extremely borken stuff. The minimum deck size is only 8 cards so your deck can rapidly become very consistent and cycle quickly. By playing and picking well you can end up with a deck that clears the entire field in one turn, which is satisfying as ♥♥♥♥ because the sound design is AMAZING in this game. Every time you hit an enemy you get a solid hit sound, followed by the POINTS sound, which is my favorite sound. Extending your combo and wiping multiple enemies is so fun! This game rules.
+ 1 works really well on gamehub on odin 2 portal and rp6 love this game, awesome mashup of card battler and space invaders. love the different classes, card upgrades, artifacts and cool abilities. the only thing this game and many others suffer from is that while playing through it, you finally get to the point where the cards you get are just starting to work really well together and everything is starting to pop. then all of a sudden you kill the boss and the games over. no option to loop or press on and take this awesome build to new heights. its like 80-90% of the playthrough is the setup and then if your build pops you clean the boss up ez and its over, or you lose and its over. just to start again with nothing and start the tedius set up again. i think the games need to go for longer or have an option to go for longer. like slay the spire, have 3 big bosses and significant upgrades or new cards when you beat each one. like more heat sync to play more cards, maybe draw an extra card each turn. something to vary the the runs a bit more. when i first played this game i could see myself playing for easy 100 - 200 hours. but after playing about 10 hours, i can see its going to be alot less than that, which is such a shame because i really like this game. i pray and hope that the devs add more content to this game, especially considering the price. Things i would love to see improved in this game is as stated above, - a way to loop or continue in endless for a high score/street cred XD. - love a way to ban cards/upgrades from the available pool. - some daily/weekly challenges with different starting decks and modifiers. - maybe each level to have a secondary objective and when completed a reward of some kind. - a way to give cards more than 1 upgrade. i give it a solid 8/10 but i would not pay full price for it. if there was more content then sure i think its fair. but i think $15 - $20 AUD is more fair for something like this.
