Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 23 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

The population of the harsh desert planet Kwalasha needs our help. Their peaceful lives, working in the mining industry, have been disturbed by a threat that they cannot face alone: the Arachnids. Under Colonel Hawthorne’s command, the Mobile Infantry will take back control of the planet and smash everything that has more than two legs. Enlist in this exciting military campaign, meet inspiring characters, visit amazing locations and do your part in the heroic war against the Bug!

The Arachnids may have virtually limitless numbers, but they lack the thorough tactical training that the Mobile Infantry enjoys. Position your units in advantageous choke points or on higher elevations. Be wary, however, that battle mechanics such as True Line of Sight and True Line of Fire may limit your field of fire and allow the treacherous Bugs to lay in ambush.

Optimize your army by choosing from a wide range of specialized unit types, each with its own strengths, weaknesses and set of unlockable elite abilities. Rifle Troopers can use their shotgun ability to hold back large numbers of Arachnids, M11 Marauders bipeds can unleash a withering mortar barrage and the Fleet Liaison can call down dropships with reinforcements or direct an airstrike to wipe out whole swaths of enemies.

The Bug infestation is rooted in elaborate underground hives. These present a unique challenge that demands a delicate balance between aggression and defense. Beware of the numerous tunnel openings, from which hordes of Arachnids can emerge.
To eradicate the Bug problem for good, their nests must be eradicated!

Хороший жук - мертвый жук!
This is a great game. I was hopeful, being a huge Starship Troopers fan, that this would have the same feel as the movies. It absolutely did. The storylines for the original game and the DLCs were really fun and entertaining. But I loved the strategy mechanics. I wish it had been more about base building, similar to a Command and Conquer experience, but they focused more on fast paced action and gameplay. You can choose which units to spawn at your base, and you move around the maps capturing resource points while the opponent does the same. The player's units are unique and each has strengths and weaknesses. Some units focus more on close fire, such as the basic infantry unit, where others focus on support roles, like the sniper. It really forces the player to try different combinations based on the enemy units, and it relies heavily on trying new combinations and failing. The game is difficult, and requires the player to be very aggressive and think quickly. Once you finish the campaigns, the mini campaigns for each faction add a bit to replayability, but often feel like a rinse and repeat with different maps. The objective missions are really where the fun is, and having to storm a huge bug force could not be any more enjoyable. The sounds are immersive and the gameplay is way too much fun. I would highly recommend buying the base game, the DLC is fun too, but I am not sure if I would buy the DLC at full price. I waited for a sale for all of them and am not disappointed.

a RTS classic set in the Starship Troopers film universe, what more do you want troopers?
Now i have my citizen, what're you waiting for?, go to nearest enlist center and fight for the federation. Do you wanna live forever?.
It's a squad commander game on a larger RTS map level. You can't push simultaneously in two locations, unless you are willing to be the god of micro managing, I mean it can be done but you're potentially opening yourself up to a wiped squad if you aren't paying attention. A squad can be 'wiped' before the melee even begins just because you've walked blindly into an area without say, armour piercing pulse guns for tiger bugs. You will likely not out run the bug and will lose 12 people just like that. But that's where the beauty of this game is. It IS punishing if you try to do too much. Instead, you are forced to look at the map, where all location types such as radio stations, control points etc are mapped out accordingly, including bug holes. It's your job to look at that map, assess where you are best of pushing, and where you are best off holding. Hammer and anvil does work. I am not without gripes though. There are bugs called Scorpions which are quite frankly annoying. They outrange you, despite having guns, high powered sniper rifles or better and they 'cheese' your long distance weapons, often staying just outside of your range, as if they could judge such a thing reliably. To get around this, improving the officer or allowing the construction of a fleet relay to call in air support, would be nice. Theme and flavour is perfect. The propaganda-based menus take you right back to the feel of the movie. The tutorial is even the ill-fated drop of Klendathu and as things start to quickly unravel, the media do their best to put a positive spin on it until they see the drop ships abandon you and quite frankly, cut the feed, leaving your brave lads and lasses to a defiant, heroic and grizzly end. The territorial game mode they've added allows for a lot of replayability. The inclusion of the powered suit troopers and mechs as your 'end game' tech, mentioned in the book, are just the cherry on top. You're laugh like a space fascist as your literal space marines fire rockets from their shoulders and actually out-run the arachnids, shredding them all with high powered weaponry - but the game will make you earn these toys. Sounds cool right? -- Click here if you'd like to know more -- (Sigh - there. More recruits for my quota. Poor ****ers.)
Idk how to explain it, but the game feels like it wants you to command multiple squads that coordinate to take down hives and swarms. Then, on their own they can cap points. Cool idea, too bad attack ground doesn't even work properly and my guys will just run into the middle of a swarm and get melted. All the fortification equipment melts or overheats past being useful. Feels slow and kinda janky for a game that has been out for a while.
I finished the game. The upside, Yeah it's similar to movie and it's fun. The Down Side, i can't enjoy it cause every mission has constant bug attack and 1 friggin min to prepare for battle and the tf am i supposed to do. I wanted to explore and have some fun. Nope you have to keep on guard for every min. bug attack bug attack bug attack bug attack bug attack bug attack bug attack bug attackbug attack preapre for you guessed it bug attack bug attack bug attack bug attack bug attack bug attack bug attack fk!!!!!!!! Please balance the bug spawn time. They aer spawning too much and am supposed to hold an army with few troops?
This game at random times will have big performance issues and the game has terrible balance on the higher difficulties but is way to easy on every other difficulty, the good reviews are just from people being nastolgic or don't want to criticize the devs sense it seems like this was made by 1 person
