I play this game to pass time. It's nice for someone like me, who has a lot of tasks at home that are "hurry up and wait" related. During the wait periods, I play this to kill time without using up too much brain power, which I need for the tasks. I did read the dialogue initially, but it's just not very compelling for me, which is fine since I'm not invested in this game. This is a very pretty distraction, and some of the systems are fun like animal breeding. That's probably my favorite part other than the crafting and sims like house building. It's buggy, but again I'm not emotionally invested so it's not a big deal to me. If you want to be transported on a journey, this is not the game for you. If you want something mindless and light that can help you pass the time, this might be your cup of tea =]

「きみのまち ポルティア」や「きみのまち サンドロック」とおそらく同じシステムで作られたゲームですね。 上記２作品のファンなら受け入れられるかと。 上記２作品を知らない方は、3Dの牧場物語っぽい作品だと思ってもらえればOKです。 キャラデザは可愛く、話しかけたときの挨拶は日本語で声付き。有名声優が使われているため、 結構製作費がかかっているかと思われます。 ストーリー的なものはあまりなく、大目標としては島を発展させることですが、 進め方は自由なため、オープンワールドのように楽しめます。 システムがなぁ…あまりいいシステムとはいえないため、正式リリースした後もバグがあったり 挙動が遅かったりするため、この部分は残念です。

Starsand Island is a relaxing, charming game—perfect for fans of cozy animation and comfortable gameplay. It offers many tasks and challenges, and since it’s labeled "Early Access," more content is likely on the way. If it’s not your style, that’s fine—move on to something else. What feels boring to one player can be satisfying to another.
I really wanted to love this game, and in many ways I do. The art style is absolutely adorable. The island is colorful, relaxing, and genuinely fun to explore. Farming, decorating, fishing, and gathering all feel satisfying, and it’s one of those games that’s easy to lose hours in. That said, after about 40 hours, I realized what was missing. The characters are… nice. But they rarely feel like real people. Their dialogue doesn’t evolve enough to make me excited to talk to them every day, and the romance feels surface-level compared to games like Sun Haven or the older Harvest Moon titles. I found myself wanting deeper conversations, more memorable heart events, and relationships that actually changed over time. The gameplay loop is excellent, but the emotional connection isn’t quite there. I loved building my farm more than I loved getting to know the villagers. If you’re looking for a cozy farming game with beautiful visuals and relaxing gameplay, I think you’ll have a great time. If you’re someone who plays these games because you become attached to the townsfolk and romance candidates, you may leave wanting just a little more depth. Overall, I enjoyed my time with Starsand Island and don’t regret buying it. It has an incredible foundation, and if future updates continue expanding the characters and relationships, I could easily see it becoming one of my favorites. 7.5/10 today, with the potential to become much more. 🌿

Super fun to play
Il y a vraiment des choses sympa dans ce jeu que je ne retrouve pas ailleurs. Se déplacer en roller ou skate est vraiment top. (j'ai une monture mais je ne l'utilise pas) Je pense qu'il est en dessous de fantasy life (le top dans le domaine) mais il s'en rapproche et il est mieux sur certain aspect (transport, ranch) et moins bien sur d'autres (moins de métiers). Je prendrais quand même fantasy life entre les 2 car c'est un des meilleurs jeux (je pense le meilleur pour ma part) mais ce jeu est bien au dessus d'autres du même genre.
