After playing 2 hours I thought: It should have catched me by now. You do not feel any progression at all. So I got some mods to make it more interesting. After another 2 hours: Meh... uninstalled. Even getting it on sale was a waste of money.
A decent space sim. Could have been greatly improved with more uniques, better character development & progression, better story writing, better voice acting, and just more imagination. Atmosphere, exploration, and the ships are the high points of the game. The simplistic UI is clean and makes command a breeze and pleasurable. Exploration could have been improved with less generic rewards. In an entire quadrant of space, you should surprise me way more often than this game does. Little Green Men - I advise that you find better writers for both story and game content in the future to progress to the next level.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Don't expect a noob-friendly and light version of EvE Online. The intro movie had lag despite changing to low video settings on a 970. The tutorial was basically getting spammed with text on how to do everything at once, despite the rest of the game having (pretty poor) voice acting. The controls felt unnatural, with three different buttons ([tab], [space] and [v]) to change view/control settings. Maby you get used to it but during the hour I lost I only got more and more confused. The physics of ship movement was un-immersive and allows you to go from full speed, all power to engine (which translates to 59 "speed") to a complete stop and back to speed in more or less an instant.
Хорошая игра, но перевод всё портит. Это конечно же не космосим, и конечно же не Элита. Но поиграть ради сюжета можно.
TL/DR: Shallow, but with upside. [The Great] Space is beautiful! Great music! Exciting space combat! I have a hard time enjoying space combat in other games since experiencing this system. Multiple shield and weapon banks, and using mobility/position to use them all. Also, letting turrets autofire while you do it. Seriously, great job devs. Easy to navigate, intuitive. The ability to build/upgrade or even replace your ship! [The Good] The selection of available ships. Different ships are used in different parts of space. [The bad] Not enough viable item/component options. The privateer lifestyle. Once you learn to capture ships, nothing else is relevant. You can speedrun from gunboat to full-build dreadnought in the blink of an eye and the game's over. Nothing left to do. Also no reason left to explore, because the other regions of space had nothing to offer except different spaceship options. All items/components are strict downgrades. Speaking of which, the full-build dreadnought is the same size as your gunboat. All ships are the same size. This is weird. Missions feel samey. Mining and Trading are possible but pointless. With every choice there's one or maybe two good options and the rest are bad. No real alternatives, just either the right one or the wrong one. Voice acting isn't great.
