Anyone looking for an old-fashioned RPG experience should give this one a try. Not too difficult, relaxing, with a neat puzzle element as well. Definitely worth the five bucks.

An Excellent RPG games Overall. Has a lot of side quests, Well balanced difficulty. Music Is Great, and The character interactions are hilarious :D It has some minor bugs, but everything else is fine Rate : 8/10
stars otherwise a good game
fun and well-written. combat could use some improvement though, like heals first before attacks for each turn.
It's not a *terrible* game, by any means. And you can definitely feel Amaranth's influence in it. But alas, it is also not a *great* game. Stargazer offers a pretty standard JRPG experience. The story is nice, albeit not the most gripping at times, and the gameplay is pretty run-of-the-mill. The meteor system to unlock new abilities is neat, but combat overall feels wildly imbalanced (with levels seeming to matter a lot less than gear, and random difficulty spikes). Not a bad game for the price, but not a favourite either.
Not even a really bad RPG, but also not terribly original. The story is somewhere between naive and cheesy, the dialogues jump between "dumb" and witty. Yes, it is an RPG Maker game, definitely one of the top 100 but after all is said and done there was much potential and the soundtrack isn't really bad, but after like 8 hours I ask myself like "this is rather dull, do I wanna keep playing it?" and the answer is "no". If you get this very cheap then it might be worth it. At the current price - 5 Bucks - it is cheap but I slightly tend towards "no" about the question "Would you recommend this game". Loads of dumb dialogue and dumb story prevent it from being a recommendation. Also Quests, leveling, items and such don't make it really "outstanding". Balancing is so-so. I never used a single potion and only healed from level ups and healing spells, and hey I am like 8 hours into the game. After all is said and done the game is for sure at the upper average of many RPG maker games, but definitely not on the Top 5. It's fun for a while but nothing you will remember in a few years if someone asks you about your favorite games.
Don't be fooled by the slow start to STARGAZER. You might at first think that you've purchased a kids' game but just keep going, those first few "quests" will provide vital information for the last portion of the game. I was surprised to find myself playing for several hours each day, rather than the 2-3 hours I would normally spend playing similar RPGs. STARGAZER is a rather fun RPG with a good story line, some decent humor and very quirky characters. A few of the things that I really liked: 1- the quests are an integral part of gameplay, as opposed to being mere time-fillers, and must be completed to advance the story; 2- there are only a handful of potions and restoratives, and not the dozens required in similar games; 3- fairly straight-forward gameplay (as long as you pay attention to what the NPCs are saying); 4- a good bit of plain silliness; 5- PUZZLE CAVES! It wasn't all goodness and light though Two things that bugged me were: 1- the info provided in the quest journal is somewhat skimpy so I frequently had to go back to the NPCs for reminders; 2- there is no 'dash' option so be prepared to walk everywhere. All in all I found this to be a very enjoyable game, and a welcome addition to my STEAM library!
Как же я ненавижу RPG Maker.
