5 years after the events of the award winning original, the Sith are on the verge of crushing the Old Republic. As a lone Jedi, will you follow the light side or succumb to the dark?

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.57/day in the week to Sep 12 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Few sequels can exist in a vacuum, and so the immediate burning question is: which is the superior title? KOTOR I or KOTOR II? With begrudging admittance, it is the former, for the latter lacks the same level of cohesion due to having been released in an incomplete state. KOTOR II is so fragmented that it has come to rely on a mod (abbreviated as TSLRCM) to be restored. While modding surely elevates the game above its' already "all time classic" status, new players cannot be expected to know they would need mods for a proper "full" or "originally intended" experience. Therefore, this review will reflect on the game in its' default state... and that state suffers twofold: •Firstly, with narrative loose ends that leave a player unsatisfied. A prime example would be with the companion HK-47, who alludes to a potential questline that would be meaningful to the character but doesn't actually exist. •Secondly, with hysterically noticeable glitches. This is something I wouldn't typically point out if it weren't for the fact one such glitch forcibly and entirely skipped each dialogue sequences during the FINAL conflict, leaving me with no context aside from my reply options. However, when KOTOR II is at its' best, it is the best of both KOTORs. The writing is genius. The narrative is that of a paradox, chastised by purist fans as a divisive dissection of the very core of what gives Star Wars its' identity... But this is a half-truth. Through wrestling with its' identity it embraces it with an intensity and nuance never seen before, making player choices all the more palpable, all the more in line with the belief system of The Force: •To walk the path of the Jedi is to rebel against persecution, doubt, suffering, and the shackles of old sins— and in so doing offer a steading hand to the staggered soul of a wounded galaxy. •To walk the path of the Sith is to twist the dagger, to revel in the sculpting of your own supremacy, casting down not only all rivals but fate itself— to obtain vain, intemperate freedom. P.S. The "influence" system will likely feel esoteric or convoluted. There are only so many opportunities to gain or lose these friendship points, so unless you plan to play with a guide in your lap, I'd say just spend time with your favorite companions and let the rest burn.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

One of my top SW games! A continuation of the first!
El final es un bastante insípido, fuera de eso, gran juego de Star Wars, pero por sobre todas las cosas, gran época que merece ser explorada en peliculas y series.
KOTOR2 is well regarded for a reason. It has great depth of buildcrafting, an interesting story with many likeable characters, and a wholly unique take on Star Wars that still shines despite it's visible age. I recommend taking it slow at first if you are new to tactical RPGs as I was when I first started this game, as it has some mechanics that can take time to get comfortable with. This is a fun game that you will certainly get a lot of value from.
Absolute banger, don't hesitate any longer. Still hits super hard 20 years after. You'll see everywhere that the writing is miles above the first title, and I can now say that it's true. I played with the Restored Content Mod, and the experience was flawless. I had less bug (in fact none) in this than in Kotor 1 despite its reputation.
This game is for true gamers not fake gamers that chase rank in COD or Counter Strike. A Gamers game for gamers.
Love this game, but I HIGHLY recommend modding it for the best experience Technically playable while vanilla, but there's plenty of bugs and missing content without at least downloading various bug fixes and TSLRCM I would also recommend following a certain path with the planets to get a better experience, but moreso as a 2nd playthrough if you don't know any of the spoilers yet.
