Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 27 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I played this game when I was younger, and like most people I played by myself just playing galactic conquest or doing some of the hunts for fun. To me that is the memories. I played some 10 person xbox lan in a game bar some but most of my playtime was at home alone just doing galactic conquest over and over or random instant action battles. I have the older release of this game but at the end of the day i'm not interested in modding the game, I don't care about multiplayer (there are a million better multiplayer games now adays tbh). All I wanted was a version of the game that can run on modern hardware with no fuss and works with the controller without any problems... and this game gives me that. If you played this game years ago and just wanted to scratch that galactic conquest itch then this is a perfect buy. It doesn't come with the headache of the older releases plus you can play with a controller on this version. I don't have any clue what people expected from a re-release like this, Its not like the classic (and very dated) battlefront gameplay was gonna take the world by storm and cause a huge uptick in online play. The game came out before online was the norm so alot of people played this game mostly alone or split screen. But to me this release is more than fine in its current state if you just want the old game mostly as it was but playable. (and without the worlds biggest hud lol). TLDR if you're looking for actual nostalgia and just some fun galactic conquesting this game is perfect. If you expect the next online sensation you're probably lost and confused lol.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Rip Battlefront fans
All I wanted was to play split-screen with my friends. That's all. A simple desire the satisfaction of which was advertised to me, informing my purchase entirely, AND YET! I find that it is not only unfulfilled, but revoked entirely! Starved for classic Battlefront co-op, with measly scraps in my mouth, yet they would have sufficed if they were not SNATCHED from my mouth because of what? Your incompetency? Your hubris, even? You set out to fix that which you have already broken, and look at the result. I spit at you, STAR WARS™: Battlefront Classic Collection, you abomination, you walking cancer, a formerly exquisite corpse ravaged beyond repair. I condemn you Aspyr, may any genuine talents who compose your development team flee for better opportunities, and leave you as a withered husk.
Just. No.
hay juegos en los que desperdicié plata, y luego está esto.
This review is based on the single-player experience of the Classic Collection due to the multiplayer being dry and desolate as the sands of Tatooine.
Intro
The campaigns for both BF1 and BF2 are what I expected them to be, having already played their respective games before this "rerelease." BF2 is generally a better game that builds off its predecessor with faster-paced gameplay, space battles, and a better campaign. With the Classic Collection now available at a 35-dollar price tag, you can experience both games in one package that is updated to be used on modern gaming consoles with support for widescreen resolutions and 64-player battles. These two games were also ported from their console versions, which includes improvements for BF2, such as an animated main menu, bug fixes (e.g., missing movie cutscenes and voicelines), and new bonus content exclusive to the console version of BF2. What could go wrong?
Bugs
As everyone on the internet knows, the launch was a disaster, and the devs packed it up after three patch updates. I did not encounter any game-breaking bugs or any missing cutscenes during my playthrough, but there were quite a few minor bugs that the devs left behind after abandoning the game. I will list the bugs I encountered as follows:

The accessories on units that have physics are very janky, stiff, and spaz out every time a character walks.
The AI is still clanky and will do things that they are not supposed to, like staring at a wall and shooting above the player's head.
Some parts of the player's in-game UI do not properly scale with the game's resolution.
There is an animation error with the medical droid in BF1, where the animation plays at the speed of light.
One of the anti-aircraft guns in the Utapau mission in BF2 is missing almost its entire mesh.
When shooting the clone commander's gatling gun in BF2, the audio does not sync with firing the gun.
The phase 2 heavy clone trooper's pauldron in BF2 lacks double-sided textures.
Very likely to have plenty of more minor bugs that I did not catch on my playthrough.

My Recommendations
This title had very great potential to be one of the best Star Wars Battlefront games to have come out. All the devs had to do was treat this game like GTA VI and keep delaying it until they patched most of the bugs and server issues. Unfortunately, that is not the time we are living in right now. However, if Aspyr ever wants to milk this cash grab ever again, then I do have some advice to revive the game:

Keep working on the game.
Lower the price of the game from 35 dollars to 20 dollars ($19.99 in marketing terms) or add new content that can make this game be worth the high price. This game is not worth that type of money.
Just add crossplay.
Get rid of the AI-upscaled textures and keep the original textures in the game. This solves the 50 GB of space problem. If you want to update the graphics and make it more appealing to modern times, then do it how 343 Industries did it with Halo CE Anniversary. All you have to do is remodel everything, enhance the lighting, and add a keybind to switch between old and new graphics.
NEW CONTENT! If you really want to bring the players back in, then port over a complete version of the classic cancelled BF3 by Free Radical without messing it up. People will absolutely go insane if you add this game to the Classic Collection, and they might actually spend the money to go play it
(this is just copium, and it will never happen)
.

Final Verdict
The Original Classic Battlefront II https://store.steampowered.com/app/6060/STAR_WARS_Battlefront_II_Classic_2005/ Harrison Ford's Battlefront II Remaster Project https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1422695732&insideModal=0
really good remaster if you are a star wars fan buy it on sale i payed way too much for that
this game is a massive L do a better job
I don't feel like I can recommend this version of Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2. You can still play the originals on Steam and GOG. Both still have an active player base for multiplayer if you are interested. There are some out there that have experienced bugs and glitches that weren't fixed by Aspyr. Although I haven't ran across those bugs. For starters: * the remaster or rerelease came out without crossplay * Modding is more difficult than the originals * The entire UI seems to be built around a controller even when navigating with the use of a Keyboard and Mouse. I do have a Steam Deck which works. I think this version is up to you but generally getting the originals will fair better.
