Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 27 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
After 3 updates, I'd say its decent. For playing single player, its pretty much perfect, besides some audio issues. Multiplayer isn't great, but it works. You probably wont find a full lobby. Only downside is this version cannot be modded (as of now). I think the price is still a little steep, even if on sale. This is the definitive vanilla version to play on steam deck or a steam machine type thing. This will be my go-to version for vanilla single player, but if I wanna use mods or play multiplayer, I play the originals.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Battlefront (2004) and Battlefront II (2005) Bundled together with slightly better graphics. Very fun.
I played this game when I was younger, and like most people I played by myself just playing galactic conquest or doing some of the hunts for fun. To me that is the memories. I played some 10 person xbox lan in a game bar some but most of my playtime was at home alone just doing galactic conquest over and over or random instant action battles. I have the older release of this game but at the end of the day i'm not interested in modding the game, I don't care about multiplayer (there are a million better multiplayer games now adays tbh). All I wanted was a version of the game that can run on modern hardware with no fuss and works with the controller without any problems... and this game gives me that. If you played this game years ago and just wanted to scratch that galactic conquest itch then this is a perfect buy. It doesn't come with the headache of the older releases plus you can play with a controller on this version. I don't have any clue what people expected from a re-release like this, Its not like the classic (and very dated) battlefront gameplay was gonna take the world by storm and cause a huge uptick in online play. The game came out before online was the norm so alot of people played this game mostly alone or split screen. But to me this release is more than fine in its current state if you just want the old game mostly as it was but playable. (and without the worlds biggest hud lol). TLDR if you're looking for actual nostalgia and just some fun galactic conquesting this game is perfect. If you expect the next online sensation you're probably lost and confused lol.
The game has gotten better since launch. Worth giving another shot and updating review if you like it.
All time classic! But there are no improvements from the original. The original games work in some cases even better and have less bugs. I could play some time but couldnt even start instant action. Feels like a cash grab.
This game wasn't on sale for May 4th and the 3rd update they announced on April 24th is still not out. Just buy the originals.
Just get the originals, save your money. The ONLY things this does is HD the textures, better resolution scaling and official multiplayer servers. A simple mod gives you HD textures and no one plays online due to all the launch controversy this got. I honestly don't understand why this was even a thing if this was it lol.
ai cant do anything! you play with bots that cant hold territory, cant take on tanks (can just barly), cant hold, cant even push! you play the entire enimy team wile yours just end up either killing you or they just die so fast you cant accutaly get to win. it is way harder than what it shuld be.
The people that have a problem with the bugs never played the OG's back in the day. It's the same exact game with the same exact bugs. Thats part of what made battlefront what it is. The servers were always laggy. Try playing multiplayer on the OG xbox then come talk to me. This game was never going explode pvp wise. That time has passed. The team was wise to not waist resources on the multiplayer. I'm happy with replaying single player when I get the battlefront itch. Thank you devs for making one of my favorite games playable again.
