Great game really cool action enjoyed the story. Puzzle sections actually hard, very refreshing
gut
Getting this game for 10 quid was an absolute STEAL. This was a fantastic experience, so much so I decided to 100% the game. The Good: The Environment Art/design in this is game insane both in scale and depth. I don't think I've seen an environment this "bold" in a while, lots of puzzles, hidden secrets and all these chests contain cosmetics for every aspect of yourself. From your lightsabre, to your ship, to you lil companion BD1. Its so refreshing see all these cosmetics for free that you can earn you know? The Combat feels so much smoother than it looks which is wild because it looks sick too. slicing through enemies was so satisfying. There was so much variety in combat playstyle and It was Euphoric pulling some combos with the force. I played on Jedi Knight which was the second hardest difficulty and I believe this was the best difficulty to play at. Challenging enough and to still allow you to have freedom on how you play was awesome. NOTE: sometimes you will be fighting the camera to be able to see the enemy. This didn't happen frequently but when it did happen, it was frustrating enough to remember. The story was pretty solid and the supporting cast really pulled through. I liked all the characters including the antagonists. Honestly it was the chemistry of the crew that carried. Was nice. The soundtrack was ok. Coming of the back of Stellar blade, the difference in musical quality is stark. There were literally no tracks when playing this game that was notable. Ok fine there was only one that we only got to hear for 15 seconds at the start of the game. but other than that none. The Bad: Only 2 things really but it really started to frustrate me at times. There's NO fast travelling in any of the open world environments. This makes getting 100% in achievements really painful sometimes. So you have this sprawling environment that looks gorgeous but then it starts dragging on and on and you can get lost so easily leading to so much back tracking. Dathomir was by the far the worst offender of this. Having to backtrack through these mazes of environments to get all the collectibles The second thing is, the Hologram map is kind of horrible. I thought it was kind of awesome at first, but when you start going to more complicated planets with say more verticality. It can be very hard to navigate to where you want to go to, which also is compounded by the prior bad thing. Finding collectibles with a map that requires brains able to solve the Davinci code to navigate it, is not ideal. It feels like the game doesn't want you to 100% the game. oh and no photo mode :(( Conclusion: I've never really been interested in the star wars franchise, so I didn't really know what to expect before playing this. I'd seen someone play parts of this game on youtube and knew who would appear, even that who. But despite that this game was still so rewarding to play all the way through and I was invested in the cast of characters the whole time. And suddenly I care just a little more about the Star Wars franchise than I did before. 8.5/10
