Гра хоч і не є цілковитим шедевром і має пару візуальних і механічних косяків але як фанатові ЗВ мені прям сподобалось відчути себе джедає і побігати по далекій далекій галактиці [8/10]
tomb raider is better
it is great
it's hard to focus on the plot while this bug eyed ugly bl woman is distracting me and devs keep adding her to every damn game. if it were an rpg game i'd turn to dark side the first chance I got just to get rid of this n
HAO
Game should be renamed to Star Wars Youngling: Tomb Raider. I want to say I like this, but there are so many issues with it that I would have a hard time recommending. The premise starts with you being a padawan that survived Order 66 and hiding from the empire. Sounds neat until you get to the actual game. You are actually just Indiana Jones with an electric prod. The main character Cal needs to find a holocron, hidden in various temples, that has a list of all the force sensitive children in the galaxy so you can rebuild the jedi order. Since this takes place before episode 4 we already know this doesn’t happen. The inquisitors don’t really feel like a threat they just show up at your scheduled temple visits. Its literally two women inquisitors and one of them is emo lol. You get to see Darth Vader once at the end and he is actually intimidating. Cal is very bland having zero personality. You have two alien crewmates for your journey. The 4-armed alien is the gruff captain with a heart of gold cliché. The other, a bug-eyed former jedi master, is the haunted mentor cliché. The only person that was interesting was the love interest at the end, but the romance isn’t very fleshed out. You also have a droid companion who is basically a dog in droid form. The story and characters are just average. That’s okay because you get to live out the power fantasy of being a Jedi, right? Right? Cal, a “Jedi”, starts the game with possibly the lamest force power ever, force slow. It takes probably 8 hours (more than halfway through the game) to get all the basic force powers unlocked (push, pull, Jedi Flip). You barely even feel like a Jedi for most of the game. 50% percent of the game is looking for the climbable textures, slowly climbing the wall to jump to the convenient pole or rope, then sliding on the nearby ice slide, then squeezing through a tight passage fake loading screen, and then finally wall running on the specific wall-runnable billboards scattered throughout the map. The map design is non-sensical and a maze to navigate. Every single area of the map is broken up by these “movement puzzles”. You can’t even use wall runs in combat because those walls aren’t near enemies. You can’t just climb onto building like Assassin’s creed. Only the kosher approved ledges and wall grass are climbable. It kills the pacing so much. The planet Zeffo is the worst offender. Its absolutely massive and has the most contrived placement of these “movement puzzles”. There’s like this mining operation on the side of a cliff with no possible way for workers to get to the equipment without being a Jedi. Its literally a frozen ice river section you slide onto, jump, grab a rope, swing and jump on this half-built walkway the empire just decided to not build/connect to starting platform. On the other side its two ropes, a cliff edge and another iceslide. Of course, there are Stormtroopers waiting in these impossible to reach locations. These enemies feel so out of place, there is like a massive rancor like monster living in this ice cave with nowhere to go or things to eat and another living inside venator wreckage. Stormtroopers are somehow in these deep underground temples where you had to do 5 puzzles using the force to unlock. The game has quite a few deep and thought-provoking puzzles such as put the ball in the ball hole, plug in the power cord, and set fire to wood. To top it all off once you beat these puzzles you have to spend 20 minutes retracing steps to get back to your ship because there is no fast travel. The game has fun moments but they’re buried beneath the tomb raiding. The most fun I had was climbing and taking over an AT-AT and then wreaking havoc with it. The game is best when its focused solely on combat in its linear story segments such as the train escape or the prison assault. It would be nice if it focused on being a power fantasy like the force unleashed but It’s more similar to a dark soul’s game with parries, blocks, invincible dodge rolls, and bonfires that reset enemies. It ruins the power fantasy a bit when a basic scout trooper with an electric baton can go toe-toe with a jedi blocking multiple lightsaber swings and tanking multiple hits. Stormtroopers cannot even be decapitated, you can only do this to droids and wildlife. The force powers are somehow simultaneously underwhelming but game breaking strong. Force slow allows you a free hit on anything. The force push is more of a force shove, but since map is designed in a way that you are always near a ledge of some kind so you can force push strong enemies off ledges skipping difficult fights. You have a force stamina bar that is refilled by hitting enemies. Since you don’t get that much force power stored, I was starting to ration my force powers so I would have something for the more annoying enemy types. You eventually unlock a skill regain force with your healing stims so I just went screw it and got a mod to reduce force stamina cost. I enjoyed the game much more after fixing it with mods. I added a mod for fast travel, faster blaster bolts, smarter enemy ai, replaced Cere with Shaak Ti, and most importantly a dismemberment mod.
Como fan de star wars puedo decir que este juego suoera espectativas en cuestion de lore que muestra, en jugabilidad esta muy bien optimizado, pero cada tanto hay algun bug MUY basico (errores entre las coliciones)
