kinda like a mix of the mass effect 2 resource grab, fallout shelter, and a text based dice RPG. overall a clunky game but fantastic for a star trek game. if you enjoy star trek, youll enjoy it. -update, your warp core can randomly show "damaged" even after upgrading it and having no repairs to do thus making the power impossible to manage, this makes the game unplayable and ruins the save.
I enjoyed the game...i did two playthroughs for different endings and i might try some runs on few sectors, just to claim few more achievements. But replayability is probably low, as the story and sector content is fixed. After two runs i also can say...its not really free choice and often decisions made does not really matter ...as the story needs to progress, Yes, some matters to be able to hire some heroes or get some technologies from the events...but overall its a skriptted story game in the Startrek unoverse. 60 good hours i think justify the purchase, although i think the main game plus dlc is overpriced (i bought it with 25% reduction, still should be a bit cheaper.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game is ok. For an indie production it is high quality. It envoked many nostalgic memories. However, after finishing it once, I am not going to play another run because the main gameplay loop is just not that much fun. The main thing you do in this game is fly around from place to place collecting resources. Then you use these resources for upkeep and building stuff. That is the main part of the game. The story, which is the most interesting and fun part, is about a quarter or a third of the actual game. I wished this was reversed. I wished the main focus of this game was on the story, the choices and the various what if scenarios. Ultimately, your choices do not alter the course of the game. You will always progress through the same chapters and have the same quests available. If only they had a bigger budget to truly flesh this game out. The series had so much more content they could have used to make this game truly epic. Alas, as it stands, it is enjoyable. I rate it a 6/10.
If you're a fan of 4X games, especially Stellaris, and you love 90s Star Trek, especially Voyager, this game is a no-brainer at 20-30 bucks.
Ein bis jetzt sehr gut gemachtes Adventure mit Action und Basenbau Elementen.
Oh the nostalgia. I'd like to say that the game would be good even if you don't know Voyager from before, but i'd most likely be wrong. It's a decent resourse management semi-open FTL-like game. FTL as in sectors, not so much in randomness.
Has some issues but totally worth playing. They don't follow through on all of your decisions. Some are simply not a real option. I also miss some things from the show that would have added a lot of interest. The year of hell or the void would have made for decent gameplay. But all in all it was great fun. Maby next generation nexr? It would provide more room for exploration which is somewhat limited here.
I'm a huge Voyager fan. The game's storyline and the mechanics of the game are great overall, but for how long you got to play the game and what you were able to do in the game, the money is not worth it. For an "open world concept" where you can travel in certain systems and make choices, your true options are very limited and there is very little time to actually explore. Every click uses valuable resources and within a few clicks the entire sector that you are in is out of resources and you need to get moving. The developers should have made it so that there was more time to explore and more missions that were not vital to the storyline. Only a few side missions were in the game and you had to balance doing them with valuable resource to keep your ship alive. Finally, for a game coming out in 2026, the game interface was so below par. No actual cut scenes and no actual verbal dialog. Finally, the game only took around 10 hours to complete, which for $35 was not worth it at all. If I could get my money back, I would. However, I'm beyond the Steam return window. I hope that there will be some massive updates and upgrades to the game (esp. since I bought the DLC).
