I really want to like this game. I'm a Star Trek fan and a Voyager fan. And the developers do show an affection for the show that can be missing in many Trek games. But the base game requires an absurd amount of grinding. The game becomes more playable if you use mods, but then - of course - the developers want to keep pushing out new content to make more money that breaks the mods that make it playable. Rendering it unplayable. Alas, this is a "no" - even if you do buy it on sale.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's a good trek game but your choices are not as open or impactful as they make out in the marketing materials. There are 12 sectors which are based on 12 episodes, no matter what you choose you'll be playing these in order so the game will railroad you. You can make minor decisions during an episode but overall it will play out like the show did. For example you can keep tuvix, but he has no plot or development and no story beats afterwards. Sometimes he can be used as a Vulcan or a Talaxian, sometimes not. I completed 1 and a half playthroughs and feel i just about got my money's worth, ignore my hours on record, I like to leave games paused.
Play it once and never again..... Combat is garbage like star wars rebellion that came out in 1998 has better space combat....pick 1 2 or 3.... By time you get ship half fixed up game is over.....
It's...alright. I watched all of the shows, back in the day, and I can tell that the devs really cared about the original stories. In some ways, this game reflects more accurately what, realistically, the struggles of the Voyager would have been like than the show did. On the other hand, constant micromanagement becomes tedious after a while. I feel like it becomes worse over time as I research new technologies and then have more to micromanage, such as what food to serve in the mess hall today. I would have preferred new technologies to reduce micromanagement instead, leaving me more free to focus on the story. It is also regrettable that many important events are at the mercy of an RNG dice-throw. This is even more frustrating when you realize that the outcome of some side-missions is in part determined by the outcome of previous side-missions, meaning that one failed dice-throw means potentially two failed missions. So, this was fun for a while, but I don't think I will finish it.
(in meinem Fall B'Elanna Torres).

The premise of Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown (AtU) is great, but the execution, much like the TV series it is based on, is lacking. I really want to love this game, but the UI/UX is just terrible. The Good: *Good story, fun to see different episodes and story beats from the TV show and try to make different choices. *Great resource management tension. There is never enough fuel, food, research points....all making for tough choices. *Away missions are a fun way to advance the story and provide a different experience than flying the ship from planet to planet. *Repairing Voyager and unlocking new rooms, building better crew quarters to keep up morale, overall trying to improve the ship feels good. * The sound, both score and ambient sounds, are great. It really feels like being on a starship. The BAD: * There are NO keyboard shortcuts. NONE. I'm constantly clicking through dialogue when it'd be easier to tap spacebar. Even the "hold to skip" only seems to skip a couple of lines, not the entire scene. * Many decisions even have a number on the left side, suggesting keyboard input, but you can't hit "1" or "2", you must use the mouse (or touchpad). Again, it looks like it has keyboard inputs, but not really. Mouse, controller, or touch screen are the primary inputs. * Ship-to-ship combat feels tacked on. There's no direct control of the ship, only choosing an offensive or defensive orders and some character abilities on timers. It doesn't feel great. * Not making it back to the Alpha Quadrant is part of the fun. This is a rogue-lite in the style of FTL after all. But there is NO WAY to skip the Caretaker tutorial mission OR turn off all of the tutorial pop-ups. PLEASE LET ME SKIP THE TUTORIAL. Give a pop-up with a couple of the important choices in that Sector and move on to the good stuff. * Why do I have to "scan" every planet in a starsystem manually? If my Stellar Cartography room is powered and (in nebula) at the right level, automatically reveal what is on each planet for me. Right-click and hold ten times every star system is not a game, it's tedium. At least make this an optional setting. * Speaking of options, there are none. Not really. There is an initial difficulty setting with plenty of adjustability at the start, but during the game it's audio levels and gamma adjustment only. * The voice acting exists just enough that it's jarring when Tim Russ starts speaking. The game would be GREATLY improved by having all the lines voice acted or none of them. I don't need the original actors either. There have been three people playing James T Kirk in live action already (and I have no idea how many in video games), I'm fine if Kathryn Janeway doesn't sound like Kate Mulgrew. I really, really want to like this game. It takes that "lone ship with no support trying to get by" premise of Star Trek Voyager and sticks to it. Unlike the TV show this game is based on. I see there have been several patches already. Hopefully the development team can fix the bad UI and make this a great game. But it's not there yet. This is still an "Early Access" game even though it's not marked as such.
This game has a lot of good idea but very poor execution on a lot of them, the "What if" system feels more like a lie yes you can choose a different direction such as not separating Tovok and Neelix and keeping Tuvix. But that just ends up on labeling both Tovok and Neelix as Dead and Tuvix has 0 input though the rest of your gameplay. Yet there are still dialog options displayed for both Tovok and Neelix though the campaign, but them being classed a Dead they can not be used when Tuvix should replace both of them. Your choice is there for wasted and invalid and a massive negative being Punished for making deviations from the normal story, just makes me not want to explore different options. The next disappointment is the structure of the main quest to get to the next sector in the later game areas. They force you to get upgrades and craft systems that you "need" to get to the next step Issue being you need to grind to get the mats then you have to wait about 17 turns for 1 upgrade and another 10 turns for the building to be built then another 24 turns to build the items and then after you completed that you ask you to get at least 110 ship attack level so now you have to try and build 5 more buildings that will take you another 50 + turns to get everything and build. Because most of the game you have just been trying to balance your resources and crew rather then focusing on combat, so now you are stuck in a sector over the 160 turns. Which causes you to loose morale by -10/20 and it gets worse and worse every 10 turns after that, and the needs just get worse and worse after that if you haven't upgraded the correct buildings prior to getting to this sector you will be massively ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Leave next to no room for your own play style and just comes down to checking boxes. As you get deeper and deeper into the game it seems to just get more and more linier very upsetting. I doubt it will get better but i will finish it sick of having to try and save my ship via save scumming, because there is next to no way to beat it legit without prior knowledge of what is to come or playing it on the easiest difficulty. The game doesn't even run that well despite very low quality game i am guessing it has something to do with the shaders and lack of graphics options seems like the game was really built for consoles not pc, cant change graphics during game play has to rebuild the shader cache every time to change something just to test. should be getting over 120 fps on 4k with how low grade this game is yet some times it drops to like 20 fps when i zoom in on the ship areas and that is on high with all AA low cause you can't turn it off and no FSR. Could of been an amazing game happy I haven't bought the DLC because there is no way I am getting my money back on this but wish I could and i bought it on a 30% off still not worth it maybe worth 60% off.
I truely hate games that appear completed then con you out of further dollars for basic updates.
