Great fun. Simple game. Totally recommend.
it's good fun
Great game!! A fun and challenging take on deckbuilder games, exciting australian rules football presentation, a lot to love about this game!
In theory a great game. Have put many hours into it and it was mostly enjoyable. It's just too limiting. One bad season and you're gone. Only 1 year contracts. It gets to the point where your players are so much better than the opposition however year on year their team rating improves, no matter how crappy their players are. No amount of game plan cards helps. You end up with so many innovation points which are useless as there are no good players to trade for or decent recruits. Even if there were you will still lose to the oppostion. Eventually you just can't compete. Pretty frustrating really.
I was pleasantly surpised when I first heard about this game yesterday. Decided to pick it up today and I'm having a blast. I love footy and have been tempted to get into deck-building rogue likes and this game might be the one to get me into the deck-building genre.
Never thought I say "AFL deckbuilder" but here we are. It's a really cool little game that I fear will not hold my attention for very long but fun nonetheless.
.
What a great rogue-like game. Blend love for AFL, card-game light and rogue games all in one. Just perfect.
Love that we get a decent AFL football game. I don't play sports sims usually, but have quite enjoyed this one so far.
