I didn't know this sport even existed, and I'm having a blast playing it. I also like being able to learn real player's names as well, it's a nice touch.
ALready overpriced and then trying to charge extra for historic players. No wonder indie gaming is dying, everyone is hungry for $$$
Great fun, once you get the mechanics of it, the challenge of building a dynasty is tough but enjoyable.
highlights from my first playthrough: >go 0-3 to start my first season in queensland >win next four (two one-point victories) to scrape into finals >thrashed in EF but survive board vote 3-2 >reach first national GF in season 10, unbeaten >
get heartwarming letter of support from young fan
>
mentions Josh Battle is his favourite player
>win premiership and delist Battle immediately (old) >go 6-0 to start premiership defence, narrowly lose to saints in last round >narrowly lose to saints again in SF >face saints again in GF >trying to figure out how to beat them >propose a trade for their best midfielder >they accept for some reason >win GF by six goals it's a good game
Unique rogue-like AFL game, it's good to have an AFL game that is quirky and where the gameplay and graphics aren't totally broken. It's got that classic roguelike addictive gameplay loop, recommend
This is a very fun strategy game. I look forward to putting on a good couple of albums and attempting a run or two for the National cup. Its depth of strategy is surprising and every attempt is different. Very much recommend this!
Awesome footy manager type game. It gets harder with every playthrough and there's basically every player from the 90's until now to unlock each time. Heaps of replayability. Absolute gem for footy managemnt enthusiasts as there's really nothing like it.
Not many "footy-inspired" team management games out there. You'd reckon you'd need to go a long way to find a good one. And yet ...
Good little rogue like fantasy game, if you enjoy AFL and sports sims then it's a must get.
I'm very disappointed to see the AI art in this, such a cool game concept ruined by this slop.
