Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 7 → 5.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I had never done nonograms before playing this, and Squeakross does an amazing job at teaching you how to play and its UI and accessibility options are phenomenal. As you can tell by my hours played, there is PLENTY of content and it will take you quite a while to get through. I love playing a couple puzzles at night to wind down. I highly recommend this game!
I have played so many picross games. 3D, Pokemon, Zelda, the entire picross e collection, and if you want picross, this is the best way to get it I've found in ages. It also comes with cute mice and a house decoration gimmick so why not?

I love rodents ✓ I love picross ✓ I love decorating ✓ I love this game ✓✓✓
I'd call this a nice, little game, but as you might notice from the hours played, "little" might not be correct word. I've never been a big fan of nonograms, always struggled with solving them. Squeakross introduced them so well, and offers help if needed the whole time, and as I write this review I have finished every single puzzle in the game. I have a lot of love for this game, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to any puzzle lovers, or those who'd like some brain tinglers. The puzzles gradually get more and more difficult, so it's a very good learning curve. The designs are really cute, the amount of LGBTQIA+ pride items is super sweet and lovely, and if you click on your rodent they'll squeak. All in all, it's a near perfect game if you're interested in these types of puzzles and like rats, mice, hamsters, etc.
Definitely the best Picross game I've played, AND there's rats. 11/10
it is literally perfection (picross) that they managed to improve upon (adding rats)
Nonogram perfection. I love nonograms as a rule, and I've played a bunch of quite decent ones, but few manage to improve upon the formula. Squeakross does. All the little things, like a built-in counter, makes solving them so much more comfortable. The rat-decorator-life-sim aspect actually adds to the experience, and pushes the "just one more puzzle" even further, by giving me motivation (OF COURSE MY RAT NEEDS A NEW SOFA!!!). If you like nonograms/picross-likes, this is simply essential. Runs like a dream on Linux.

The greatest nonogram game ever made. It's quite frankly indulgent.
Squeakross: Home Sweet Home takes everything I love about doing nonograms and picross and makes it into an even cosier experience. I love dressing up my little mouse/rat as well as decorating their little home. Something I especially like is the lack of a in game timer or " 3 strike" system. I don't ever feel the pressure of a timer counting how long it's taken me to solve a puzzle or it keeping track of any mistakes I may make. It makes it a much more relaxing experience and I would consider this game more laid back than other picross games. There are also a good variety of puzzles varying in difficulty, meaning anyone who likes picross can have some fun, no matter the skill level. Even if you do get stuck, you can always call on your little mouse to help you, with no repercussions which is really nice. There are also settings that you can change that make the puzzles more challenging too if that's something you are looking for, such as removing hint numbers, making it more like the traditional game you'd play on paper. To conclude I boot up this game almost everyday, even just for a puzzle or two as I really enjoy the cute gameplay loop of doing puzzles and decorating my little guy and his home. I would 100 percent recommend this to any casual or even advanced picross fans looking for a good time, It has a bit of something for everybody.
