Spriter makes it easy for anyone, regardless of experience, to create 2D game animations using a technique called Modular Animation. Individual sprite pieces can be attached to bones and then easily animated with the powerful, yet easy to use toolset.

great animation software, quite straightforward and easy to use, the asset packs are pretty worthwhile too
Very nice, easy to use animation software, can`t wait Spriter2 to come out!

Had this for years and still use.
Really good software for 2D animation
Just tried to install this product on Linux again (Ubuntu 24.10). It still doesn't launch. So, if Linux is your target OS, stay away.
Unfortunately I can't recommend Spriter or Spriter 2. While both are dedicated tools for 2D animating with bones, they are completely missing any form of block out tool. I would expect at least some rudimentary paint or vector tools. Add to that most of the features are things we can already do in Blender, including the painting and vector. Mesh deform which is the big upgrade in 2, is something that was already fairly standard in other 2D apps, and essential in 3D. So at a price of $60 even if it includes beta access, and a copy whenever it finally releases. Currently over 6 years in development. It's simply not worth it in my opinion, if it even gets released. Hopefully they prove me wrong, I'd love to see it released, and with more than what it currently offers. Imagine UbiArt Framework, even if it's just the roughing and animation. One can dream, but I guess instead, they would rather focus on 2D/3D gimmicks, for animations that will be pointless in most 2D games.
Muito simples e intuitivo de usar.
