Neat.
definitely one of my favorite games, a really memorable experience.
weird game its just ok
pretty fire
I had the game alt tabbed while i was watching videos pretty much all day, now everyones gonna see my high scores and amount of hours played and make fun of me for it.
I absolutely adore Splatter. It feels a little impenetrable at first. The first level doesn't make the best impression, but if you stick with it to just the second level the game's style and energy really start to shine. It takes a second to really get a grip on the nuances of the combat and movement, but when it clicks it feels fantastic. Every level is so distinct both in visuals and mechanics. The visuals are fantastic, I love how the enemies are animated and how they stand out against the environment, even when it's coated in a thick layer of multicolored blood. The music deserves special mention, Splatter has an excellent sense of spectacle that's exponentially elevated by the music, particularly the explicit versions of tracks that come in when you're doing well help to drive the action. The writing is very funny and character driven, and the voice performances are great. Particularly the second antagonist was one of my favorite video game characters in recent memory. I feel like with some of the subject matter this game's humor veers dangerously close to being a bit dated, but that stuff isn't at the heart of it, which is a lot more universal. And, without giving anything away, the ending is absolutely phenomenal. Everything makes sense and you get complete closure. I really cannot recommend this game enough. I love every single part of it. Even the character customization, you only ever see your characters hands, and yet this game gives you more choices than most games will give you without forking out for a battlepass. This game is deeply, deeply underappreciated. I implore anyone who likes shooters to play this game. Like I said, it feels a little rough at first, but the highs are absolutely worth the time and money investment. Sent from my Ouya
My Trans friend confirmed that they can weaponize their testosterone to turn someone into a puddle of bioluminescent paint. You learn something new everyday. 12/10 Game for Trans accuracy 10/10 Acid Trip Simulator 100/10 Bumping soundtrack. Would crunch on a CD in a nightclub again.
