Perfect art direction, game made specifically for terminally online people. Great soundtrack, good gameplay, inconsistent balancing (both in weapon and level design). It is very hard to tell if the "adaptive enemy" system even works due to the fast pace of the game. Cruelty squad fans punching air rn
Pretty fun, mentally taxing but fun none the less

Fun colorful Doom
An arcade shooter where you shoot colorful squishers in liminal spaces that resemble late 90s - early 2000s cyberspace with your hands and blow up color-changin humanoids while listening to different characters having a mental breakdown in ASMR format in the background. What's not to like ? A couple of things actually. While the game offers varied types of projectiles, the gameplay loop is not that engaging in my honest opinion. It mostly revolves around "Go to A / Kill X enemies / Collect Y objects". Although its fast paced, you feel less in control because the enemies spawn from almost everywhere around and can swarm you very quickly, and both them and the scenarios keep pushing and bouncing you around. Some "weapons" are much better than others too, and all those elements combined made me feel a little bored while playing it. Some stages are super quick to complete, others drag on for too long. Since i spent money on this game, i wanted to "finish" it so i would't feel like i flushed my pennies down the toilet. The game relies heavily in Its fruitiger aero aesthetics, and as you can expect, there's no shortage of bright colors and music pumping loud with tons of flashing blinding lights and enemies poping up from everywhere. The visuals is what sold it for me, but it's not for everyone. Expecially those with history of epilepsy on their family. I wasn't ready for the surprise ending though. I'm sure somewhere out there there's someone rage-crying in a tiny bedroom full of empty sunscreen bottles because of it.
my brain dissolved into microplastics because of this game

pain
Great game, enjoyed the shapes and colors, would recommend POST VOID to those who enjoy this. Overall provides many dopamine hits
I have a longer review for the early version of the game under the Indie Hell Zone curator group, but this is honestly a game that stuck to me. Unexpectedly the best adaptation of the play No Exit.
