There is not much that I can say, it is a very relaxing game to play, and helped me wind down for the day.
What do you people see in this game, like the story is pretty good (but I've seen it done in kinda similar ways in other forms of media) but the gameplay feels awful. First, exploration is fun. That's all good I have to say about gameplay. Now, the game takes place on a boat, you'll be spending a lot of time waiting to arrive, so it's only natural to have something to do, so they added little minigames. The issue is you need materials from those minigames for everything else- to unlock progression you need to fulfill the wishes of NPCs all the way. That has several requirements for each, one certain one is upgrading their houses all the way. You'll be doing those minigames a lot for those materials, like at least a hundred wood planks of differing types. Ya that's just planks, remember about ores or fabrics. It would be at least better if the minigames weren't all just a combination of one or more: pressing or releasing E at the correct timing, spamming E, moving a cursor up or down, and waiting. Next, the NPCs simply don't feel like they benefit the player at all- you need to feed them (not sure on that cuz never tried starving them for long) and fulfil all their requests, while all they give you is like 2 resources once in a lifetime and they gatekeep certain materials (they gatekeep minigames yay). On top of that half of them aren't even all that when it comes to being around and speaking to them. Now, I came here from Sundered, where I thought the game was mediocre but still believed in Thunder Lotus. I looked at their page and noticed this was the only game with very good ratings, so I thought this is their magnum opus. Now I'm convinced these devs can't design a game to save their lives. I'll watch the rest of the story on the internet to spare myself (for those who say the story is the selling point of this game, why would I play a game to read a story when this isn't the medium where that is the main point, especially when the story is padded with these god-awful minigames and fetch quests. You know, a book or movie exists for that, a GAME implies there is something meaningful to do or play, and I spent around 100 hours on Stardew so it's not like the genre / sub-type isn't playable for me)
Oynadığım en iyi hikayeye sahip oyunlardan biriydi. Keşke unutsam da tekrar en baştan oynayabilsem. Sakin ama hikayesi güzel bir oyun arayanlar için ilk önerdiğim oyun olacak her zaman.
Sooo absolutely cozy and fun to play!! I would recommend to anyone who just wants to play a relaxing platformer-type indie game, with some action here and there and sweet characters.
yumm
I absolutely love this relaxing and touching game! About to start my second play through.
GOOD
One of the best coop games you can play with your partner IMHO! <3
