So let me be blunt. I loved playing this game. I love spiders and I played the app that came before this game when I was super young. Playing through it and finding all the clues and secrets is cool and interesting. Here is the big draw back that ruins the game. The developers seem to have closed servers and don't seem to be responding to new players. This game plays around with local weather and daytime settings and you need to play at specific times to allow for clues to be found and progression to occur. Now that the local weather is down and has been for a while, you can no longer use your on methods to "time-travel" and get these clues. You are locked in with the base location and can only change the weather and daytime once each phase of the moon. To final clue and puzzle needs you to play at night when there is a new moon, but only then. As of the day I am making this review, tonight is currently a new moon. I still need 4 other moon phases to unlock the ability to go to the last level, get the super rares bugs there, and finish the final clue, but I can't because I need those moon phases. This means that I have to wait a full 30 days before I can finish the game even though I'm this close to the end of the game. While the idea of using local weather is super cool, making it a requirement for progression was a bad idea. It should have stayed for scoring means only. I was having so much fun until I found out I need to keep a close eye and have a perfect schedule over the next month or else I have to wait another month if I miss something. Would recommend this game unless you just want to make webs and catch bugs. Really disappointed and hoping the developers do something to change this.
Интересная игра, с кучей уровней, секретиков и достижений. Если вы любите проходить уровни и находить секретики, то это игра для вас. :) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3150653897
Very cool, very casual game. Works great on Steam Deck. Controls took some getting used to, though… mostly because they're binary – there's a built-in acceleration on every input, including analogue sticks, making it kinda hard to move precisely. There's also a dead-zone that you can't disable, but that can be mitigated in Steam's controller settings.
100%RTAが 現実時間で528時間 かかることで有名なゲーム 蜘蛛や虫がリアルなのでエントモフォビアの人は要注意。 セール中に買いましたが値段分の価値はあると思います
Simply the smartest, smoothest, most intelligent, most beautiful, most underrated and best game ever. Yes. Best game EVER. For many reasons, and some I should not say. Humility, Reverence and above all Secrecy.
игра тоооп жалко что пауки друг от друга не отличаются ни чем
See the world through the eyes of an arachnid in Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon! Spider: RotSM is a puzzle-platformer type game that's a sequel to an earlier title by Tiger Style, Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor. It's a game with a unique premise to it - you're a tiny lil' jumping spider, living her spidery life in the mysterious Blackbird Manor where you hatch. As a spider, your only goal in life is to hunt down insects and eat them, either by catching them in webs or tackling them like real jumping spiders do. The gameplay for this part of the game is really quite fun and interesting. It's really fun to plan out where you should spin your next web, how to lay webs in sequence, how to catch each insect, and where to find secrets, all in lush hand-drawn and hand-painted levels with soothing music. The game's smart too - it can look up the weather and moon phase in your area, and use that to change the way the levels work. In fact, that's a big part of the game's mechanics, since some insects only come out at night or during certain weather conditions, and some puzzles can only be solved during certain moon phases. The game really, really encourages you to try and find all of its secrets, neatly and intricately tucked away in the hidden corners of its mansion locale, all of which is only made more fun by its surprisingly deep lore. Yes, this game about a cute little friggin' spider has lore, and it's crazy lore at that. You see, while you're hunting bugs and spinning webs, you're also exploring the Blackbird Manor, a mysterious place built by a secret society akin to the Freemasons, filled with mysteries and puzzles of its own - and some of them can get quite deep and fiendish. In fact, just about everywhere online that has discussed the deeper puzzles in this game has mysteriously deleted their answers, making it hard for anyone else coming into it to solve the puzzles at all and erasing clue trails. It's also a massive roadblock to anyone trying to 100% this game for achievements' sake. That's a big problem, actually, and in my opinion a hindrance to the enjoyment of the game - so much so I'm currently working on a guide for this game that gives detail while also not giving too much away. Don't worry, Tiger Style, I'm making sure to keep it in the same spirit as the game itself so the player still needs to work, while also being able to see more and look deeper into the lore behind your work. :) Spider: RotSM is fascinating - a hidden gem of a puzzler on Steam if you're willing to face your fears of creepy crawlies. I find it a relaxing way to spend an afternoon, or night, or rainy day, or dark and stormy evening. The style of the game is charming and taught me a little about the insects of the East Coast as well as being an intriguing journey into a real life secret society. Its simple, breezy style is easy to learn, but not quite as easy to master if you want high scores and high ranks. It has something for everyone - deep puzzles, beautiful art, nice music, a little science, and casually addicting gameplay. I mean, you can really watch the hours fly by with this game and never feel too bored. Definitely pick this up - at $10, for the depth you get, it's well worth the price of admission.
A hidden gem! The game offers a mixture of platforming, exploration and puzzle solving. This together with a scoring system that rewards game knowledge and planning make up a very unique game experience. The soundtrack works very well for the game and the cartoonish visual style gives it an ageless feel.
