Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

my fav game. this was my first ever played game.
My brother and I used to play this as a kid, never managed to get to the end, at some point, our Xbox disc of the game broke and we forgot about the game. I recently remembered it and played it on pc! It's amazing. Pure perfection. Crazy storyline, cool effects for it's time. a TON OF FUN. Absolutely recommended. Get it. You won't regret it.
Le jeu est génial !

Its a classic of mine, will always love this game started when it was on PS2!
So much Nostalgia with this game , it reminds me of childhood . The Gameplay was so fun mixed between action-adventure and solving puzzles , The Graphic is old but still looks clean in this version of PC . Overall the game is Fun especially if you played it before on PS2 like me .
can someone help me i cant play the game my screen just stays all black
Action and Puzzle comes together in a superb Egyptian Mythology inspired adventure! Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy is a action adventure game, originally for the 6th Generations of home consoles, by Eurocom and THQ. Remastered by THQ Nordic. The game follow the titular Sphinx as he solves the mystery of why evil is lurking into the land of Egypt by fighting, platforming, and exploring Meanwhile the young prince of Egypt, Tutankhamun, has been turned into some kind of Cursed Mummy from this festering plot and he assists Sphinx's efforts by solving puzzles. Being what is essentially a B-grade version of other popular action-adventure games, Sphinx excels at having both a incredible unique setting with equally amazing art direction that absolutely make it worth more than it's shortcomings. Gameplay of Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy is split between two characters, Sphinx and well, the Cursed Mummy so up first the the character who takes up most of the game time, Sphinx! Sphinx is a... well a Sphinx-like humanoid, and like the animals that make up the sphinx, he's very athletic. He has a more action-focus to the gameplay as you'll be exploring trap filled tombs and engaging in simple but satisfying combat with a wide variety of enemies. There are also some puzzles sprinkled in the "dungeons" of the game to season up the pacing along with him fighting all the bosses. Sphinx also has access the most amount of Egypt to explore, talk to the locals, and take part in some side quests and minigames for some extra goodies. Sphinx also gets new equipment throughout hit adventure, starting from a ancient sword to a equally ancient shield, all the way to blow darts with different ammo types, and beetles to capture enemies. There's a nice steady progression as you play that really makes you feel like you're getting better and stronger as you triumph in your adventure. Meanwhile at Uruk, Tutankhamun is the Cursed Mummy and as such has a more puzzle focus to the gameplay with easily the most hilarious use of the fact you're undead in a game like this. The Mummy will set himself on fire, electrocute himself, slice him in threes, and more in order to solve various puzzle in his sections of the game. And the segments aren't cut and dry, there's some forethought required as well as some bonus collectables and upgrades that can be given to Sphinx once completion. While there aren't that many Mummy segments, each one is a swell change of pace from the main Sphinx gameplay that it's a welcome addition. Overall, the gameplay loops of both characters are fairly solid for a game like this, a ton of creative ideas brought together in a creative setting. Honestly most of it's shortcoming come from the game seemingly having segments being purposely tedious to extend game time. As well as the run up to the finish line feeling kinda rushed, at least from a narrative perspective, with the gameplay being affected simply from the game wrapping up fast rather than being annoying. Stylewise, the game is absolutely phenomenal and inspired. The game has a cartoonish artstyle and that combined with variety of Egyptian humanoid and animal designs makes every single NPC, Enemy, and whatnot feel unique and fit the setting perfect. The use of color is also superb. As instead of the blinding white and yellows that one might expect a game that takes place in 70% desert would look like, Sphinx uses rich orange colors accented by deep purples and blues as well as other bold color usage. It's such a incredible way to make what would otherwise be generic ancient Egypt look so striking. And this was already something the game did insanely well, the Remaster simply makes it even clearer to soak in and appreciate. Overall, while Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy clearly has shortcomings from it's circumstance as a "B-grade" game. It's aesthetics, setting, and it's gameplay mechanics that it showcases absolutely makes it worth a playthrough in my eyes. It's so unfortunate that a game that the developers clearly really had a fun time with never got the time to really flesh out the game's pace or even just get a sequel as the ending clearly hints towards. While there are mods that do take a glimpse at what could have been. Like with some other B-grade platformers I grew up with that I knew had stuff cut, it really makes me wish for a directors cut or some kind of extended version to fully express what the devs wanted to do with the game. But all in all, the remaster here is superb and easily the best way to experience a solid Ancient Egyptian adventure!
