This is a nice game with a story that’s engaging, but not too complex. Gave it a full playthrough and got all the achievements. I played it with a gamepad and don’t have any issues in that regard. Performance was near flawless on both Gen. 5 Intel i7, 16GB RAM, and 4GB Nvidia GT 960M (1080p@60fps) and Gen. 7 Intel i5, 16GB RAM, and 2GB Nvidia GTX 1050 (1440p@120fps). The gameplay is good and in my opinion has a good variety of in terms of mechanics and activities in roughly the first half, but gets a tad repetitive towards the end – if you’re going for a 100%. Collectibles were genuinely nicely implemented and I enjoyed solving the riddles for some of them immensely. The races are partly skill, partly tactic/creativity (especially the ones where you are given more freedom in your choice of route), which is a good thing. I have my fair share of experience with racing games, so the gold medals were sometimes challenging, but I’d say not too much. I hope they weren’t too much of a hassle to someone who doesn’t play racing games regularly. Speaking of achievements; none of them seem to be missable. Two of them (One Track Mind, Rollin', Rollin', Rollin') require a great deal of grinding, took me about 1.5–2 additional hours after completing the campaign and everything else to get them. One more achievement (Cut Out The Middle Man) requires a bunch of attempts to get and your mileage may vary depending on your luck. No Stone Left Unturned becomes a bit difficult towards the end since the game doesn’t really track your progress in any way other than showing how many more you need and ticking clues as completed in your inventory – would be nice if there was at least a number of stashes you haven‘t found by in-game region, but there isn’t; I found about 95/100 by myself, then had to check my notes against a map online or I would spend many more hours.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Pretty good
It's all right, similar games would be GTA1 and GTA2. I thought the story had a weird concept: "I'M COMMITTING A SMALL GENOCIDE TO CLEAR MY NAME AS MY FATHER'S MURDERER"...
This game is a Poundland version of some of the older Grand Theft Auto entries, it's enough to disregard it and play literally any of those games. I'm not saying this game is all bad, but it certainly feels very cheap and it almost looks and plays like a mobile game. The characters are uninteresting, the map is small and uneventful, missions and overall storyline lacks almost in every aspect and on top of that all characters are not voiced and all quests introductions are basically the same, with a bit changed text here and there. The camera is isometric and you literally can't tell where you're driving unless you're constantly checking the minimap which is 100% ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I was never really a fan of GTA, I mean I can play those games but there's something about it that's just not attractive to me, this game certainly does not help relieve that pain in any way, shape or form. 5/10
Hell No! So many worthless side quest and no good storyline. I had to grind to get 100 stash, they could have made GTA SNAp type site to sync your save look what left rather then roaming here and there. Plus the main story not so good.
i tried to get into this game multiple times, but as you might see from my short playtime the game just couldn't keep me interested. it's just boring, and i can't force myself to play it any longer. Not only is every mission that i played just a fetch quest, but even the open world and fighting with the police is just boring, and i end up turning the game off after a couple missions, or sometimes even just one. it doesn't even have great story or characters to carry the otherwise underwhelming gameplay. They also suck. it feels like and looks like a mobile gta clone in every way. Including the awful dialogue artwork. To the point i had to check the google play store to see if it's just a cheap mobile port, but to my surprise it doesn't seem to be. shocking. i assume i bought this from a sale for very low price, but even then it's not worth the money. The only reason you would kinda like this, is if you have absolutely nothing else to play. But we are on Steam, there are thousands of other games you could play and spend your money on.
American Fugitive feels like a modern take on the first 2 GTA games. It has fun, top-down open-world gameplay where you're stealing cars, outrunning cops, and just generally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around between missions in a decent sandbox. It's got a decent variety of vehicles and jobs. It's not revolutionary; missions can become repetitive; the story is serviceable, but nothing special; gameplay is fairly basic; the world isn't very interactive; side activities feel samey, and they just blur together after a while; and in general, it doesn't have much personality on its own; there are no fun/memorable characters; they just feel like cheap copies. Still, I think for the right price, it's an enjoyable homage and can be fun for a couple of hours.
